A product page can say almost anything. Our job is to report what an AI agent is documented to do, where that information came from and when we last checked it. This page explains how we build listings, rank tools, handle reviews and fix mistakes.
What We Check for Every Listing
Each agent page has a specs table. We try to fill in the same fields for every tool so you can compare them fairly:
- Autonomy: which tasks the agent completes on its own, and which it only drafts or suggests for a person to approve.
- Channels: where it works, such as phone, SMS, email, chat or social messaging.
- Integrations: the CRMs, calendars and other systems it connects to, and whether that connection is native or goes through a third-party tool.
- Pricing: plans and prices exactly as the vendor publishes them, or a note that pricing is only available on request.
- Free plan or trial: whether one exists and what it includes.
- Setup fees: any onboarding or implementation charges the vendor lists.
- Compliance and security: certifications or claims such as SOC 2 or HIPAA, reported as the vendor states them. We do not audit these.
- Company details: who makes the product, where they are based and when it launched, where that is public.
When we can’t confirm a field, we leave it blank or mark it unknown rather than guess.
Where Our Information Comes From
We start with the vendor’s own website, pricing page, documentation and help center. We then look at reputable third parties, such as established news outlets, software marketplaces and official app directories. Anything we take from a third party and cannot confirm on the vendor’s site is labelled “reported,” with the source named and linked.
Dates and Re-Checks
Every listing shows a “Details last verified” date. That is the day we last compared the page against the vendor’s published information. AI products change pricing and features often, so we re-check listings on a rolling basis and sooner when a reader or vendor tells us something has changed. Always confirm the current price and terms with the vendor before you buy.
Do We Test Every Agent Hands-On?
No, not at present. Most listings are based on the vendor’s published information and third-party reporting. When we have not used a tool ourselves, the page says so. If we do test a product, we will describe what we did and when, so you can judge how much weight to give it. We never claim hands-on testing we have not done.
How Best-Of Lists Are Ranked
Our best-of lists are editorial judgments. For each list we decide what matters for that job, then weigh how much each agent does on its own, how well its channels and integrations fit the use case, how transparent its pricing is, and how much we can verify. Moderated user reviews can inform our view once a tool has enough of them. We explain the reasoning for each pick in the article itself. Payment plays no part, and no vendor sees a list before it is published.
How User Reviews Work
Anyone who has used an agent can leave a review on its page: one star rating from 1 to 5, plus a written review. Every review is held for moderation before it is published. We remove or reject reviews that are spam, abusive, off-topic or that look like a conflict of interest.
Vendors, their employees and their agencies may not review their own product. Competitors may not review rival products. We don’t edit what reviewers write, with one exception: we remove personal data, such as phone numbers or a named individual’s details, before publishing. A star rating shown on an agent page is the average of published user reviews, not a score from us.
Corrections
If you find an error, please tell us through the contact form and include a link to the source that shows the correct information. We review every report. When we confirm a mistake, we fix it and update the “Details last verified” date. If the change is significant, such as a price, a feature claim or a ranking, we add a short note to the page saying what changed and when.
Advertising and Affiliate Links
Listings on AI Agents Choice are free, and vendors cannot buy placement, rankings or ratings. We do not run ads today. In the future, some links to vendor sites may become affiliate links, which means we could earn a commission if you sign up through them, at no extra cost to you. If that happens, we will disclose it on the pages concerned. Affiliate relationships will never decide which tools we list, where they rank or what we say about them.
