Charlotte AI is the agentic analyst built into CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform. It triages detections, filters false positives, closes low-risk alerts and helps analysts run investigations, and CrowdStrike says its triage decisions agree with its own expert managed detection team more than 98% of the time. It is best for companies already running Falcon that want Tier 1 triage taken off their analysts’ plates without adding another console.
Pricing and platform commitment are the main points to plan for. CrowdStrike publishes Falcon bundle prices, starting at $59.99 per device per year for Falcon Go, but Charlotte AI itself is quoted. Behind it is a large vendor: CrowdStrike reported $5.84 billion in ending ARR in August 2026. This review is based on CrowdStrike’s published product pages, pricing and announcements as of October 2026; we have not tested it hands-on.

The accuracy number is the one buyers should weigh most, and also the one to read carefully. It measures agreement with CrowdStrike’s own managed detection analysts, not with your team, and the 40-hour saving rests on a five-minute-per-alert assumption. Both are reasonable starting points for a pilot, not guarantees.
The financial figures matter for a different reason. CrowdStrike is one of the largest security vendors, Falcon Flex adoption is growing fast, and the company has tied Charlotte AI to partnerships with Anthropic, OpenAI and NVIDIA. That lowers the risk of the product being abandoned, and it also means Charlotte AI delivers the most as more of your security stack runs on Falcon.
Working on Falcon Detections and Telemetry
Charlotte AI is not a separate tool you deploy. It runs inside the Falcon platform and works on the detections, endpoint telemetry, identity signals and threat intelligence Falcon already collects. That shared context is its main advantage over add-on AI SOC products, and also the reason it matters most to existing Falcon customers.
Detection Triage
- Detections arrive. Falcon generates alerts from endpoints, identities, cloud workloads or the Next-Gen SIEM.
- The agent assesses them. Charlotte AI analyzes, prioritizes and summarizes each detection and decides whether it is a true or false positive.
- Low-risk alerts are closed. Within the autonomy level the customer sets, it closes low-risk alerts and surfaces higher-priority ones for analysts.
- Workflows take over. Through Falcon Fusion, triage results can kick off automated response workflows, which the security team defines and approves.
Investigation Canvas
For alerts that need a person, analysts work in a dynamic canvas. They can add context, set priorities and direct the analysis while Charlotte AI pulls evidence. CrowdStrike says answers are traceable and grounded in validated data, and decisions are aligned to the user’s role, so a junior analyst does not get access to actions they are not cleared for.
AgentWorks and Agentic SOAR
AgentWorks is a no-code environment for building, testing and deploying custom security agents in plain language, inside Falcon’s security and governance controls. It gives access to third-party models including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT and NVIDIA Nemotron, with Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker as infrastructure options. Charlotte Agentic SOAR then orchestrates agent-to-agent and human-AI workflows, mixing fixed automation logic with agent reasoning. Partners such as Accenture, Deloitte and Kroll are building their own agentic services on it.
Bounded Autonomy With User Authorization
CrowdStrike frames Charlotte AI as bounded autonomy. Customers decide how far it goes, and actions require user authorization. Analysts still own containment decisions on serious incidents, tune detection logic, review the agent’s closed alerts during rollout and handle anything outside Falcon’s view.
Licensing and Policy, Not Integration Work
Because the agent runs on Falcon, setup is mostly a licensing and policy exercise rather than an integration project. Teams new to CrowdStrike can request the 15-day Falcon trial, get access within 24 hours, then install the Falcon sensor and view three test detections. Existing customers add Charlotte AI through their account team, then decide which alert types it may close automatically and which actions need approval. A sensible rollout starts with triage recommendations only, compares them with analyst decisions for a few weeks, and widens autonomy for alert types where the agent and your team agree.
Falcon Prices Published, Charlotte AI Quoted
CrowdStrike publishes prices for its Falcon bundles but not for Charlotte AI, which is sold through sales. In October 2026 the Charlotte AI page was promoting free AI credits. The bundles below are what Charlotte AI sits on.

Falcon Go for a Fifty-Device Business
Fifty-device small business. Falcon Go for 50 devices costs $2,999.50 a year on annual billing. On monthly billing the same 50 devices cost $399.50 a month, or $4,794 a year. Charlotte AI would be quoted on top.
Five-hundred-device company. Falcon Go is capped at 100 devices, so a company this size starts at Pro. Pro for 500 devices is $49,995 a year; Enterprise, with full EDR, is $92,495 a year. Again, the AI layer is extra.
Sizing the payback. CrowdStrike’s 40-hour figure assumes five minutes of manual work per alert, which works out to 480 alerts a week. If your team triages far fewer, the time saved shrinks in proportion, and that should shape how much you pay for the AI layer.
Hidden and variable costs. Annual plans can be canceled within 30 days for a full refund, and optional add-on modules such as Next-Gen Identity Security cost extra. Falcon Flex accounts now carry more than $2.29 billion of CrowdStrike’s ARR, so ask whether Charlotte AI is counted under Flex or priced separately in your agreement.
CrowdStrike Charlotte AI Compared With Microsoft Security Copilot, Dropzone AI and Torq Socrates
These are the closest alternatives on our site. Microsoft Security Copilot is the equivalent for Microsoft security stacks; Dropzone AI and Torq Socrates are vendor-neutral.
| Tool | Starting Price | Free Plan | Main Strength | Main Trade-Off | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CrowdStrike Charlotte AI | Custom quote on top of Falcon (Falcon Go from $59.99 per device a year) | No (15-day Falcon trial) | Native triage on Falcon detections with customer-set autonomy | Best value only for Falcon customers | Falcon shops automating Tier 1 triage |
| Microsoft Security Copilot | Included with Microsoft 365 E5 or E7; otherwise $4 per SCU per hour | Included allowance with E5 or E7 | Agents across Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Intune and Purview | Usage-based compute units can be hard to forecast | Microsoft security stacks |
| Dropzone AI | Custom quote | No | Vendor-neutral alert investigation with full work logs | Response stays largely with humans | Teams with mixed SIEM and EDR tools |
| Torq Socrates | Custom quote | No | Orchestrates triage, investigation and automated response across the stack | Learning curve reported by reviewers | Teams replacing legacy SOAR |
The choice mostly follows your existing stack. Falcon customers get the most from Charlotte AI because the agent sees the same data as the rest of the platform. Microsoft shops should look at Security Copilot first. Teams with a mix of SIEM and EDR vendors, or that want response automation across many tools, should compare Dropzone AI and Torq Socrates. More options are on our cybersecurity agents page.
Falcon Customers With Piles of Low-Risk Alerts
- Existing Falcon customers: the agent works on detections you already collect, inside the console your analysts already use.
- SOCs drowning in low-risk alerts: automatic triage and closure of low-risk detections targets the most repetitive work.
- Enterprises that want governed AI: ISO 42001 certification, role-aligned decisions and user authorization for actions fit risk-averse buyers; see our enterprise agents page.
- Teams that want to build their own agents: AgentWorks offers no-code agents with a choice of Anthropic, OpenAI and NVIDIA models.
- Organizations consolidating vendors: Falcon already spans endpoint, identity, SIEM and threat intelligence, so adding the AI layer avoids another console.
Other EDR Users and Microsoft-Centric Teams
- Companies on another EDR: Charlotte AI is built around Falcon data, so a vendor-neutral tool such as Dropzone AI fits better.
- Microsoft-centric security teams: Security Copilot is included with Microsoft 365 E5 and E7 and covers Defender and Sentinel natively.
- Small businesses that need a fixed price: Falcon Go is affordable, but the AI layer is quoted.
- Teams wanting fully hands-off response: CrowdStrike requires authorization for actions, so analysts stay in the loop.
An Accuracy Figure Defined by CrowdStrike’s MDR Team
- Vendor-defined accuracy: the 98% figure measures agreement with CrowdStrike’s MDR team. Audit a sample of closed alerts in your first month.
- Estimated time savings: the 40-hour figure multiplies alerts by an assumed five minutes each, so your results depend on your alert volume.
- Features in development: CrowdStrike’s AgentWorks announcement says some referenced features are still being built and buyers should decide on features available now.
- Platform commitment: custom agents, workflows and triage history live in Falcon, which makes switching EDR vendors harder later.
- Quote-based AI pricing: without a published price for Charlotte AI, compare total quotes, including Falcon modules, against vendor-neutral tools.
Q2 Fiscal 2027 Revenue of $1.47 Billion
On August 26, 2026, CrowdStrike reported second quarter fiscal 2027 results: revenue of $1.47 billion, up 26%, ending ARR of $5.84 billion, up 25%, and Falcon Flex ARR above $2.29 billion, up 101%. The release highlighted protection for AI agents and expanded AI Detection and Response partnerships.
On March 25, 2026, at RSA, CrowdStrike launched the Charlotte AI AgentWorks ecosystem, opening its no-code agent builder to partners including Accenture, Deloitte, Kroll, Salesforce and Telefónica Tech, with models from Anthropic, OpenAI and NVIDIA. On February 13, 2025, it made Charlotte AI Detection Triage generally available, claiming over 98% triage accuracy.
The Obvious First AI SOC Agent for Falcon Users
For Falcon customers, it is the obvious first AI SOC agent to evaluate. Charlotte AI scores 8.3/10 on our scale. It acts on real detections rather than only drafting summaries, closes low-risk alerts within limits you set, and comes with stronger governance claims than most rivals, including ISO 42001 certification. CrowdStrike’s published 98% triage accuracy and 40 hours saved per week give a clear benchmark to test against.
Published pricing for the AI layer and public user ratings would lift the score, and its value is tied to running Falcon. If you are on another EDR, start with Dropzone AI or Torq Socrates. If you are on Falcon, ask for the free AI credits, run triage in recommend-only mode for a few weeks, compare its calls with your analysts, then widen autonomy step by step.
