Arini’s entry plan is listed at $499 a month for an AI receptionist that answers a dental office’s phones and books patients straight into the schedule. The Y Combinator-backed startup, founded in 2024 in San Francisco, says it now serves hundreds of practices, from single offices to dental service organizations.
It is aimed at practices that miss calls during busy hours, at lunch or after closing, and that want patients to be able to book by phone or text at any hour. This review relies on third-party listings, directory profiles and Arini’s case studies; we did not test the product, and Arini’s own site was not reachable for this review.
How It Works
Arini answers incoming calls and texts at any hour, handles common patient questions and books, moves or confirms appointments directly in the practice management system. Third-party listings name Dentrix (including Ascend and Enterprise), Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Denticon, Curve Dental, CareStack and Cloud 9 Ortho.
Beyond inbound calls, it runs outbound campaigns to bring back patients who are overdue for recall, and it can check insurance eligibility. A dashboard called Watchtower tracks how each agent and location performs. For larger groups, Arini also offers an enterprise track in which its engineers build agents for insurance verification, claims and denials.
In one published case study, Unified Dental Care started Arini as an overflow line at two Michigan offices in October 2024, routed all calls through it within five days and expanded to all eight locations within a month.
Pricing
A third-party software listing shows two flat monthly plans: Starter at $499 for inbound calls and online scheduling, and Growth at $799, which adds outbound patient workflows. A free trial is listed, with no setup fee shown. Other directories describe pricing as quote-based, so confirm the figures directly and ask about multi-location rates for groups.
What to Watch Out For
Arini is a young company with a small team, and independent reviews are scarce. Its marketing mentions Spanish, Mandarin and Korean, but one 2026 review described it as English-first with limited multilingual ability, so test calls in the languages your patients speak. Confirm that your exact practice management version is supported and get a signed business associate agreement before going live. Arini’s integrations page was returning an error in August 2026, and no official integration list is published, so ask for a live demo booking into your own system.
