Doba Pilot works from a catalog of more than 1 million SKUs, many of them in US warehouses, and it does the clicking a dropshipper normally does by hand. Give it a goal in plain English, such as finding pet products that ship domestically in under five days, and it researches, sources, writes listings and publishes them to your Shopify store.
Doba, a US-focused dropshipping platform based in Utah, launched Pilot in beta in March 2026 and has added features nearly every month since.
How Doba Pilot Works
Pilot runs in a chat at ai.doba.com and connects to Shopify, BigCommerce, Wix, eBay, Walmart and TikTok Shop. Product search accepts text or an image, and for sellers without a niche, a Market Scout feature suggests product directions from trend data. Once you pick items, Pilot fills in required attributes, shows listing previews and publishes in batches.
After the sale, an Order Fulfillment Agent watches order status and tracking. It flags shipments that look stuck without waiting to be asked, follows up with suppliers on instruction, and can submit return or refund requests under supplier after-sales policies. If a customer cancels in your store, Pilot tries to stop the matching unshipped supplier order, which saves the classic dropshipping loss of paying for goods already in transit. Success depends on how far along that supplier order is.
Scheduled tasks and long-term memory let Pilot repeat jobs, like a weekly restock check, and remember your preferences. Requests that need a human decision, such as pricing negotiations or brand authorization, go to Doba’s support team with the chat history attached.
Doba Pilot Pricing
Third-party reviews report that new users get 30 free credits, with a $39.99 monthly plan for 100 credits. Product cost, shipping and any Doba service fees are charged per order, and optional After-Sales Protection Services cost extra. Budget this on top of your Shopify plan and other apps.
What to Watch Out For
Pilot sources only from Doba’s catalog, so it cannot replace a supplier you already trust on AliExpress or elsewhere. Check product margins carefully, since US-warehouse items usually ship faster but cost more than overseas equivalents.
The agent is young and changing fast. Review its listings before they go live, at least at first, and watch credit use on research-heavy days.
