Siena AI charges a reported $750 a month before it answers a single ticket, then about 90 cents for each one it automates. Hundreds of consumer brands, including SPANX, FIGS and HexClad, pay that to have its agents track orders, process returns and refunds, and change subscriptions without a person stepping in.
The pitch to Shopify sellers is personality as much as automation. Siena writes in a persona the brand defines, so a jokey apparel label and a sober supplement store can each sound like themselves.
How Siena AI Works
Siena connects to Shopify and to the helpdesk a store already runs, such as Gorgias, Zendesk, Kustomer, Gladly, Dixa or Intercom. From there it pulls order, shipping and subscription data through integrations with AfterShip, ShipBob, ShipMonk, Loop Returns, Recharge, Skio and others. Stores can wire up any other API endpoint in a few steps, which helps if your supplier or fulfillment app is not on the list.
The product now runs several agents: a customer service agent, a shopping agent that recommends products, plus agents for reviews and quality checks, and a Topics Explorer that surfaces recurring complaints. They share what Siena calls an Agent of Record, one memory of each customer’s orders, reviews and past chats. If a shopper returned a dress for fit, the shopping agent can take that into account next time.
For dropshippers, the voice-of-customer view is a practical early warning. A spike in complaints about one product or one supplier’s shipping times shows up before it becomes a chargeback problem.
Siena AI Pricing
Siena publishes no price list. Third-party reviews put the platform fee at $750 a month, with an automation pack billed at $0.90 per automated conversation and support and implementation priced separately. Quotes start from a form asking for team size and monthly ticket volume. There is no free plan, and evaluation happens through a demo.
What to Watch Out For
The fixed fee weighs heavily on small stores. At 100 tickets a month, one review calculates an effective cost of about $8.40 per ticket. It is also unclear from public material whether escalated tickets count toward the bill, so ask before signing.
Users rate the product well, though one reviewer said the AI sometimes keeps a conversation going when it should route the customer to a human. Siena claims up to 80 percent automation; treat that as a ceiling rather than a forecast.
