EvenUp says its software touches more than 10,000 personal injury cases a week, representing over $14 billion in claimed damages. The company sells AI tools and AI agents to plaintiff injury firms: they read medical records and bills, draft demand letters and, since early 2026, make the routine phone calls that eat up a case manager’s day.
More than 2,000 firms use it, and the company says 30% of the top 100 personal injury firms are customers.
How It Works
Firms upload or sync case files, and EvenUp’s AI Drafts produces demand letters, complaints, medical chronologies and deposition summaries. A Mirror Mode option copies a firm’s own tone and structure, and a firmwide knowledge base applies its standards on liability and damages. Firms can pick self-serve Express Demands or Expert Demands that EvenUp’s legal staff review.
Companion is an assistant that answers questions across a firm’s whole caseload with citations and flags risks such as a missing MRI. Communication Agents, launched in January 2026, are voice and text agents that open insurance claims, confirm coverage, chase medical records, check on clients and verify balances before settlement, running in parallel across hundreds of cases. EvenUp integrates with case management tools including Litify, SmartAdvocate and CASEpeer.
Pricing
EvenUp does not publish prices. It describes its model as all-in-one and case-based, so firms pay by the case rather than per seat. Its managed pre-litigation service, PLAAS, is sold as a separate subscription. Buyers start with a sales call and demo rather than a free trial.
What to Watch Out For
The product is narrow by design. Firms outside plaintiff personal injury will get little from it. The headline results, including more than 9 hours saved per case from the communication agents and 95% of available policy limits recovered under PLAAS, are early figures supplied by the company. Firms that hand work to PLAAS should also plan how attorneys will supervise tasks done by EvenUp’s own staff. Security details sit in a separate trust center rather than on the main site.
Recent News
EvenUp raised $150 million at a valuation above $2 billion in October 2025, in a Series E led by Bessemer Venture Partners. In January 2026 it launched Communication Agents and upgraded its drafting suite at the National Trial Lawyers Summit. In May 2026 it introduced PLAAS, a pre-litigation service that pairs its AI with a US-based case management team and covers claim setup through settlement negotiation.
