Most AI website builders meter their agents with credits. Wix does not: Aria, the agent inside Wix Harmony, uses no AI credits, and Harmony sites run on the same plans as the classic Wix Editor, from a free plan to Premium plans at $17 to $159 a month billed annually. Aria builds full sites, pages or sections from prompts and handles edits from a new color palette to a full page redesign, while the owner keeps drag-and-drop control.

Harmony is best for small businesses, freelancers and creators who want a business site, store or booking site built quickly and kept up to date without a designer. Points to check are an English-only rollout that is still under way, pieces still to come such as the CMS and Multilingual, and no custom code. We rate it 8.8/10 on our scale. We have not used Wix Harmony; this review is based on Wix’s launch announcement, support documentation and plans page, plus public G2 reviews of Wix.

Wix’s Plan Prices and Infrastructure Claims

Wix has published clear plan prices and specific claims about Harmony’s infrastructure and limits.

The no-credit model is the most useful figure for buyers. Framer and Webflow both meter their AI, so a heavy build month can add cost. With Harmony, the plan price is the price, which makes budgeting simple for a small business that will prompt Aria often.

The list of apps not yet available is the other side. A restaurant that needs online ordering, a business that needs several languages or a publisher that relies on the CMS cannot use Harmony for those jobs yet, and should check the list before starting a site there.

Vibe Coding Meets Visual Editing

Harmony combines what Wix calls vibe coding with visual editing. You can start from a prompt, a Harmony template (marked with a green label) or a blank canvas, and move between AI and manual editing at any point.

Building a Site With Aria

Describe the business and Aria generates a full site with pages, sections and starter content. You can also ask for a single new page or section. Aria understands the full context of the site and uses your business details to personalize its suggestions.

Editing and Redesigning

Aria handles simple edits, such as updating a color palette, and larger ones, such as redesigning an entire page. It can adjust layouts and improve text or images directly on the canvas. Wix says it works continuously across the editor rather than as a one-time generator, and that changes in one area do not break code or functionality elsewhere. Drag and drop stays available for precise tweaks.

Custom Elements and Business Features

The AI custom element generator creates native components with built-in logic and code from a chat prompt, which you can edit afterward. Aria can add commerce, and sites draw on Wix’s tools for scheduling, transactions and payments, along with accessibility monitoring and SEO and GEO features. In the dashboard, Aria replaces the older Astro assistant for site management tasks.

Harmony, the Classic Editor and Wix Studio

Wix now has three ways to build. The classic Wix Editor stays in place for existing sites, and Wix says Harmony will run alongside it for the next few months while the rollout continues. Wix Studio remains the tool for agencies and complex, high-end client sites, with advanced no-code animation, custom CSS, code and layout tools that Harmony does not offer. Harmony sits between the two: more AI than the classic Editor, less depth than Studio.

That positioning matters for buyers. A small business owner who would never open Studio gets a builder where the agent does most of the work. An agency that needs pixel-level control, CMS-driven pages or custom code should stay on Studio, where Aria cannot yet help. Wix says Aria support inside the Studio Editor is in development.

Creating a Harmony Site During the Rollout

New Harmony sites are created from Wix’s Harmony link while the rollout continues, and existing Wix Editor sites are not affected. Partners received early access. Pick a template or describe the business to Aria, refine the result, choose a plan and connect a domain. A small business can have a first version in one session, then return to Aria for updates as the business changes.

Owners Check Content and Set Prices and Bookings

Owners still check the generated content for accuracy, set prices, products and booking rules, and decide what to publish. Aria writes starter content, but service descriptions, policies and legal pages need human review. Payment setup, tax settings and shipping rules for a store are business decisions the owner configures in the Wix dashboard.

A Consultant’s $204 Year and a Small Store’s Costs

These scenarios use Wix’s published annual-billing prices. The business types are illustrative.

• A consultant with an informational site: Light at $17 a month is $204 a year, with unlimited Aria use and no credits to buy.
• A boutique selling online: Core at $29 a month is $348 a year and adds payments and ecommerce. Moving to Business at $39 costs $468 a year.
• A high-volume store: Business Elite at $159 a month is $1,908 a year, before payment processing and any paid apps.

Costs outside the plan include payment processing fees, and paid App Market apps. Because Aria has no credits, heavy AI use does not raise the bill, which is the main pricing advantage over credit-based rivals.

Wix Harmony Compared With Webflow AI, Framer Agents, Pomelli and Relume

AI site builders range from simple all-in-one platforms to design-led builders and free brand tools. Harmony sits at the simple, all-in-one end.

Pick Harmony when a small business wants one platform for the site, store and bookings, with an agent it can prompt as often as it likes for a flat price. Pick Webflow or Framer when a designer or agency needs finer control, a CMS or code. Pomelli is a free companion for marketing assets rather than a full site platform. Relume suits agencies that plan a sitemap and wireframe first and then build elsewhere.

The cost picture also differs. Harmony’s price is the plan price because Aria has no credits. Framer and Webflow include monthly credit allowances and sell top-ups, so a busy month of AI edits can raise the bill, while Pomelli is free but still a beta. Service Businesses and Small Online Stores

• Service businesses: consultants, studios and salons can get a site with bookings from a description and update it through Aria.
• Small online stores: Core and above add payments and ecommerce, and Aria can add commerce features to the site.
• Owners who prompt often: no AI credits means frequent edits cost nothing extra.
• Existing Wix customers: the plans are the same, so trying Harmony on a new site carries little risk.
• First-time site owners: starting from a business description, with Aria explaining how features work and flagging issues, lowers the skill needed to launch and maintain a site.

Agencies Needing Wix Studio and Content Publishers

• Agencies building complex client sites: Wix itself recommends Wix Studio for high-end work with advanced animation, CSS and code.
• Content publishers: the CMS is not yet available in Harmony.
• Multilingual businesses: Harmony is English only and the Multilingual app is not yet supported.
• Restaurants taking online orders: Restaurants Orders is on the not-yet-available list.
• Developers who want to write their own code: custom JavaScript and backend code are not available in Harmony, so Wix Studio or another platform fits better.

A Rollout in Progress and Apps Still to Come

• Rollout status: Harmony runs alongside the classic Editor while it rolls out, so features and access may still change.
• App availability: check the support list of unavailable apps and elements before you commit a business site.
• No custom code: JavaScript and backend code are not available; the AI custom element generator is the workaround.
• Customization: G2 reviewers of Wix most often ask for more customization.
• Plan changes: Wix notes that plans and pricing can change at any time, and the published figures are annual-billing rates.
• Generated content: starter content from Aria is a draft. Replace placeholder claims, prices and policies with your own before launch.

Easy to Justify for Small Business Sites

For a small business that wants an agent to build and maintain its website, Harmony is one of the easiest choices to justify. There is a free plan, the paid plans are published, and the agent has no metering, so the owner can keep asking Aria for changes without watching a credit balance. Built-in commerce, bookings and payments cover what most small businesses need.

It scores 8.8/10 on our scale. Predictable pricing and simple setup lift it; the English-only rollout, CMS and Multilingual support still to come and no custom code are the areas to improve. Before starting, check the list of apps not yet available in Harmony against what the business needs; if the CMS, Multilingual or restaurant ordering matter, wait or use the classic Editor for now. Designers and agencies should look at Webflow AI or Framer Agents instead.

Does Wix Charge Extra for Aria?
