Exaforce Score

Our editorial score across six weighted criteria, based on Exaforce’s published documentation, pricing and public user ratings. How we score

  • Autonomy9.3

Four Exabots cover detection, triage, investigation and response, with Exabot Respond taking automated actions under analyst oversight.

  • Ease of Setup8.0

Sales-led onboarding; one Fortune 500 customer got cloud insights within 24 hours, but using it as a SIEM replacement means moving data pipelines.

  • Pricing Value7.3

Prices are not listed on its site; the AWS Marketplace Starter Pack is $75,000 a year, AWS costs may apply on top, and defining its units would help buyers.

  • Integrations9.3

140+ sources across identity, cloud, endpoint, code and SaaS, including AWS, Google Cloud, Entra ID, Okta, CrowdStrike and GitHub.

  • Trust and Security9.5

SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and HITRUST certified, and HIPAA, GDPR and PCI DSS compliant.

  • User Sentiment8.8

G2 rates Exaforce 4.9 from seven reviews, a strong score trimmed for the small sample.

Exaforce has raised $200 million since its 2023 founding, including a $125 million Series B in May 2026 backed by Khosla Ventures, Mayfield and Peak XV, and Vinod Khosla called it a replacement for the SIEM model rather than an improvement on it. Its Exabots run detection, triage, investigation and response, and the entry contract on AWS Marketplace costs $75,000 a year.

It is best for cloud-heavy companies and lean security teams that want one platform, or a managed SOC, to handle alerts end to end. Points to plan for are a sizable entry price, performance figures that come from the company, and seven public reviews so far. We rate it 8.6/10 on our scale. We have not used Exaforce; this review is based on Exaforce’s own company information and press release, its AWS Marketplace listing and its G2 profile.

A $125 Million Series B and Four Exabots on Duty

  • Exaforce raised a $125 million Series B in May 2026, for $200 million in total funding, and grew to more than 130 employees in a year.
  • Four Exabots handle detection, triage, investigation and response; Exaforce MDR adds a 24/7 human team on the same platform.
  • The AWS Marketplace Agentic SOC Starter Pack costs $75,000 for a 12-month contract.
  • Certifications include SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and HITRUST, with HIPAA, GDPR and PCI DSS compliance.
  • Against Dropzone AI and Prophet AI, Exaforce does more, including detection and a SIEM-replacing data platform, and it is a bigger commitment to match.

The funding matters because Exaforce is asking customers to move core security data onto its platform. A company with $200 million raised and more than 130 staff is a safer bet for that kind of dependency than a seed-stage startup, and the investor list includes firms that back infrastructure companies for the long run.

The certification set is the other standout. HITRUST in particular is rare among young AI SOC vendors and matters to healthcare buyers, which fits customers such as Guardant Health and Function Health. Buyers in regulated industries can start procurement with fewer gaps to close.

The customer results are company-published and should be tested, but they are specific: a named customer reaching a 14-minute response time on its most severe incidents, and another reporting more than $300,000 saved a year without adding staff.

Analyst recognition backs up the product claims to a degree. Exaforce lists a Leader and Outperformer placing in the GigaOm Radar for SecOps Automation 2025, AI Innovator and SIEM Disruptor labels in Latio’s 2026 security operations report, a Trusted AI SOC Innovator award from SACR in 2026 and selection for the AWS Generative AI Accelerator in 2025. Awards are not proof of fit, but they show the product has been reviewed by analysts who compare SOC tools for a living.

Data Platform, AI Agents and an Optional Managed Service

Exaforce combines three layers: a security data platform, AI agents that work on that data, and an optional managed service run by Exaforce analysts.

The Exabots

  • Exabot Detect: AI-powered detections designed to cut SIEM noise and close blind spots.
  • Exabot Triage: automated triage that removes false positives before they reach analysts.
  • Exabot Investigate: investigations and threat hunting without writing complex SIEM queries, including what Exaforce calls Vibe Hunting.
  • Exabot Respond: automated response actions with analyst oversight.

The Data Platform

Exaforce’s real-time security data platform has built-in ETL, a data warehouse and an in-memory database, and it feeds a real-time security knowledge graph. It can replace a legacy SIEM or run alongside an existing one. Exaforce uses separate models for data relationships, anomaly detection and expert reasoning rather than relying on one general-purpose language model, and its Series B release says it has cut the tokens used per investigation.

Coverage and AI Security

The platform ingests more than 140 sources across identity, cloud, endpoint, code and SaaS, with named connectors for AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, CrowdStrike, GitHub, Google Workspace, Atlassian, Zscaler, Elastic and 1Password. A newer AI and Agent Security module tracks the AI models, agents and identities a company adopts alongside its other security data.

Self-Managed or MDR

Customers can run the platform with their own team or choose Exaforce MDR, where Exaforce analysts and the Exabots operate a 24/7 SOC together while the customer keeps full access to the platform. Guardant Health’s CISO said the company got faster detection and response without adding headcount.

Who Runs It Today

Exaforce’s named customers span startups to large enterprises: Replit, LottieFiles and Invisible on the technology side; Guardant Health, Function Health and Commonwealth Fusion Systems in health and science; and Forcepoint, Automation Anywhere, Accton and NTT Data among larger firms. The company says Guardant Health disproved a suspected AWS compromise in about 15 seconds, and that Automation Anywhere cut investigation times by 50%. Invisible’s VP of security credited both the single platform and the MDR team’s expertise in the Series B release.

Choosing Between Platform-Only and MDR at the Demo

  1. Book a demo and agree on scope, either platform only or MDR.
  2. Connect cloud, identity, endpoint, code and SaaS sources.
  3. Decide whether the data platform replaces the SIEM or runs beside it.
  4. Set which Exabot Respond actions need analyst approval, then tune detections with the team.

Containment Policy and Incident Communication Stay With You

Judgment calls. Exaforce says human analysts step in for decisions that need judgment, and response runs with analyst oversight. Teams still own containment policy, exceptions and communication during incidents, and someone must review new detections before they are trusted in production, especially after the platform takes over from a SIEM.

One Public Price, $75,000 on AWS Marketplace

What $6,250 a Month Buys a Cloud-Native Startup

  • A cloud-native startup: the Starter Pack works out to $6,250 a month. Exaforce’s reported customer Accton says it saves more than $300,000 a year; a buyer should model savings against its own SIEM and staffing costs before signing.
  • A mid-size company replacing its SIEM: the comparison is the Exaforce contract against current SIEM licensing, storage and SOAR costs plus analyst time. Exaforce cites average savings above $600,000 against traditional SOC stacks, a company figure to verify in a pilot.
  • A three-year commitment: at the Starter Pack price, three years cost $225,000 before any AWS charges or expansion.

Other costs include AWS infrastructure charges, migration of detections and pipelines if the SIEM is replaced, and any MDR fees on top of the platform.

Exaforce Compared With Dropzone AI, Prophet AI and 7AI

AI SOC vendors range from investigation layers that sit on top of existing tools to full platforms. Exaforce sits at the full-platform end.

Choose Exaforce if you want to consolidate detection, data and response, or hand the SOC to a managed team, and you can commit to an annual contract. Choose Dropzone AI or Prophet AI if you want to keep your SIEM and add AI investigation with less disruption. 7AI is the closest like-for-like rival, with its own managed tiers. See more in our cybersecurity agents guide.

The bigger strategic choice is between adding AI to the SOC you have and rebuilding the SOC around AI. Investigation layers such as Dropzone AI and Prophet AI leave the SIEM, detections and data pipelines in place and work the alerts they produce. Exaforce wants to own the data and detections too, which promises lower total cost and fewer tools but asks for a migration. Teams that already plan to replace their SIEM at the next renewal are the natural Exaforce buyers; teams that just renewed a multi-year SIEM contract will usually get faster value from an investigation layer first.

Cloud-Native Firms Ready to Replace Their SIEM

  • Cloud-native companies: deep coverage of AWS, Google Cloud, GitHub, Okta and SaaS fits modern stacks.
  • Teams unhappy with their SIEM: the data platform can replace it rather than add another layer.
  • Lean security teams: MDR puts a 24/7 SOC on the same platform without hiring.
  • Healthcare and regulated firms: HITRUST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA compliance shorten security reviews.
  • Japanese-speaking teams: the platform supports English and Japanese.

Small Budgets and Teams Tied to a SIEM Contract

  • Small businesses: $75,000 a year is beyond most small company security budgets.
  • Teams partway through a SIEM contract: an investigation layer such as Dropzone AI may fit better until renewal.
  • Microsoft-centric shops: Microsoft Security Copilot may come with existing licenses.
  • Buyers who need many peer reviews: seven G2 reviews is a small base.
  • Teams wanting fully hands-off response: Exabot Respond acts with analyst oversight.

Unit Definitions and the Work of Leaving a SIEM

  • Unit definitions: the AWS listing does not define a unit, so get sizing in writing.
  • Migration scope: moving off a SIEM touches detections, retention and compliance reporting.
  • Vendor figures: false-positive, investigation-time and savings numbers come from Exaforce and its customers.
  • Response guardrails: agree which automated actions can run without approval.
  • Consolidation trade-off: consolidating data, detection and response with one vendor raises switching costs later.
  • MDR scope: confirm what the managed service covers and response time commitments.
  • Marketplace figures: the AWS listing cites an 80% cut in false positives and a 60%+ cut in investigation time, lower than the 90% and 95% on Exaforce’s own site, so ask which figures apply to your environment.

AI and Agent Security Launch Alongside the May 2026 Raise

A Strong Choice for Teams Consolidating Their SOC

For companies ready to consolidate their SOC, Exaforce is one of the most complete AI options available. It scores 8.6/10 on our scale: high on autonomy, integrations and trust, and an entry point below the $75,000 contract, a lighter setup path and more public reviews would lift it further.

Run a proof of value on your own cloud and identity data, measure false positives and investigation time against your current baseline, and price the full picture, including AWS charges and any SIEM you would retire. If the platform can replace a SIEM and part of the SOC workload, the contract pays for itself quickly; if you only need triage on top of existing tools, a lighter product may be the better buy.

The managed option changes the math for small security teams. A company with one or two security engineers cannot staff a 24/7 SOC, and Exaforce MDR puts analysts and agents on the same platform the customer can see. For those teams, compare an Exaforce MDR quote with traditional MDR providers and weigh the visibility and AI speed against the price.

Exabots, SIEM Replacement and Whether Exaforce Is an MDR

How Much Does Exaforce Cost?

Exaforce does not list prices on its site. Its AWS Marketplace Agentic SOC Starter Pack costs $75,000 for a 12-month contract, and larger deployments and MDR are quoted. AWS infrastructure charges may apply on top, and eligible US customers can use PNC Vendor Finance financing through the listing.

What Are Exabots?
