Intezer says its AI SOC escalates fewer than 2% of alerts to humans, down from the roughly 4% it reported when it raised a $33 million Series C in September 2024, and it claims 98% verdict accuracy with verdicts in under a minute. More than 150 enterprises use it, including MGM Resorts, Equifax, Salesforce and NVIDIA.
It is best for enterprise SOCs and MSSPs that want every alert investigated with real forensic depth, not just an AI summary. Points to weigh are pricing shared by quote, vendor-reported accuracy figures and a configuration period that reviewers say needs tuning. We rate it 8.7/10 on our scale. We have not used Intezer; this review is based on Intezer’s AI SOC product page, Help Net Security’s funding report and Gartner Peer Insights ratings.
Every Alert Investigated and Under 2% Escalated, per Intezer
- Intezer reports 100% of alerts investigated, fewer than 2% escalated and 98% verdict accuracy, with more than 98% of false positives closed automatically.
- It combines endpoint forensics, reverse engineering, sandboxing and live memory analysis with AI reasoning, triaging most alerts without heavy LLM use.
- Setup takes minutes with an API key, and more than 100 bidirectional integrations cover EDR, identity, email, cloud and SIEM tools.
- Gartner Peer Insights rates Intezer AI SOC 4.6 out of 5 from 17 ratings, all four or five stars.
- Pricing is endpoint-based but not published; compared with Dropzone AI and Prophet AI, Intezer leans hardest on forensic analysis.

| Series C | $33 million led by Norwest Venture Partners, with Intel Capital, OpenView and Magma | Help Net Security, September 18, 2024 |
| Total funding | $60 million | Help Net Security, September 18, 2024 |
| 2024 baseline | New alerts triaged in about two minutes; about 4% escalated | Help Net Security, September 18, 2024 |
| User ratings | 4.6 out of 5 from 17 Gartner Peer Insights ratings; 71% five-star, 29% four-star | Gartner Peer Insights, 2026 |
The comparison between the 2024 and current figures is the most telling. In 2024 Intezer said it triaged new alerts in about two minutes and escalated about 4%. It now claims verdicts in under a minute and escalation below 2%. If those numbers hold in your environment, the human queue roughly halves compared with the earlier product.
The customer list is also strong for the category. MGM Resorts, Equifax and NVIDIA are large, security-mature organizations, and the presence of RSM Defense shows MSSPs use it to stretch their analysts across clients. Gartner Peer Insights reviewers, with no ratings below four stars, back up the general picture, though 17 ratings is a modest sample.
Forensic Evidence Gathered for Every Alert, Not Just the Loud Ones
Intezer’s approach is to do what a careful analyst would do: collect the evidence, analyze it properly and reach a verdict, for every alert rather than just the high-severity ones. That matters because attackers often hide in the low-severity alerts that human teams skip when queues get long, and an automated reviewer has no reason to skip them.
Evidence and Forensics
For each alert, Intezer collects the artifacts an analyst would request and analyzes them with deterministic forensics plus proprietary and commercial AI models. The toolkit covers correlation, sandboxing, reverse engineering, script analysis, network artifact analysis and live memory forensics. Intezer says it triages most alerts with deterministic analysis and efficient models instead of resource-heavy LLM processing, which keeps costs and response times down. Reviewers specifically praise the context its code analysis adds to triage.
Coverage by Alert Type
- Endpoint: collects files, logs, command lines and memory images, resolves false positives and escalates real threats with recommended actions.
- Identity: queries IdP data, checks findings against threat intelligence, contacts users for feedback and proposes and executes next steps.
- Phishing: parses raw email, scans attachments and analyzes URLs, returning a verdict with priority and classification.
- Network: analyzes IPs and URLs, correlates alerts and auto-remediates where relevant.
- Cloud: investigates with logs and connected data, assesses scope and auto-resolves false positives.
- DLP: checks whether access matches the identity’s role and normal behavior, resolving routine activity and escalating real risk.
Response and Tuning
Custom agents and workflows provide automation and response without a separate SOAR. Remediation can be automated with explicit human approval, and analysts can review, override or challenge any verdict. Each verdict feeds detection engineering, and user feedback plus Intezer’s in-house QA tune triage logic and detection rules. For the hardest incidents, Intezer’s own experts are available.
100-Plus Two-Way Links to EDR, Identity and Email Tools
More than 100 native, bidirectional integrations include CrowdStrike, SentinelOne and Microsoft Defender for endpoint; Microsoft Entra ID, Okta and JumpCloud for identity; Office 365, Proofpoint and Mimecast for email; Wiz, AWS and Google Cloud for cloud; Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic, Wazuh, Devo and Cortex for SIEM data; Palo Alto Networks, Cisco and Darktrace for network; and ServiceNow, Jira and Tines for ticketing and automation.
Who Uses It
Intezer’s named customers cover hospitality, manufacturing, software, logistics, credit reporting and managed security: MGM Resorts International, the electronics maker Yageo Group, Salesforce, the parcel carrier DPD Poland, Equifax, NVIDIA and the MSSP RSM Defense. MGM Resorts’ CTO also gave a testimonial when the Series C was announced. The spread matters because alert mixes differ by industry; a resort operator sees a different blend of identity, phishing and endpoint alerts from a chip designer, and Intezer covers both.
The Company
Intezer is led by co-founder and CEO Itai Tevet, who describes first-hand experience on SOC and incident response teams. Its $33 million Series C in 2024 was led by Norwest Venture Partners, with Intel Capital, OpenView, Magma and CyberArk founder Alon Cohen participating, and it planned to use the money to grow its go-to-market and product teams. Total funding stood at $60 million after that round.
Connecting Alert Sources by API Key in Minutes
- Connect alert sources with an API key; Intezer says this takes a few minutes.
- Review the first verdicts in the dashboard, which Intezer says appear within the hour.
- Set escalation routes into ServiceNow, Jira or your SOAR.
- Decide which remediation actions need approval and tune with feedback over the first weeks.
Escalations, Response Approvals and Detection Policy
The escalated alerts, response approvals and detection policy. Intezer is built to shrink the human queue, not remove it, and reviewers note that initial configuration takes effort and fine-tuning before results settle. Analysts should also sample auto-closed alerts during the first weeks, since a wrongly closed true positive is the costliest error an AI triage tool can make, and their overrides feed back into the triage logic.
Endpoint-Based Pricing Without Published Figures
Intezer describes its pricing as predictable and endpoint-based, tied to the size of the organization, but does not publish figures on its AI SOC page. Endpoint-based pricing means cost does not jump when alert volume spikes during an incident or a noisy rule change.
| Plan | Price | Billing | What’s Included | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Intezer AI SOC | Custom quote | Subscription priced by endpoints | Investigation of all alert types, forensics, auto-close, escalation, custom agents and workflows, 100+ integrations | Scales with endpoint count |
| MSSP use | Custom quote | By agreement | Multi-client alert investigation | Confirm terms with sales |
60 Escalated Alerts Out of 3,000 Monthly
Alert volumes below are our illustrations; escalation rates are Intezer’s claims.
- A company with 3,000 alerts a month: at under 2% escalation, about 60 alerts a month would reach analysts instead of 3,000. Price the quote against the analyst hours that frees.
- An enterprise with 10,000 alerts a month: under 2% escalation leaves about 200 alerts for humans. Ask for pricing on your endpoint count and compare with the cost of the analysts you would otherwise need.
- An MSSP: the value is clients per analyst. Model how many more clients your team could handle if most alerts close automatically.
Other costs include tuning time at the start, any SOAR or ticketing licenses used for escalation, and the alert sources themselves, which Intezer depends on.
Intezer AI SOC Compared With Dropzone AI, Prophet AI and Torq Socrates
These four all promise autonomous alert handling, but they take different routes: forensic depth, LLM-led investigation, per-investigation pricing or a hyperautomation platform.
| Agent | Starting Price | Free Plan | Main Strength | Main Trade-Off | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Intezer AI SOC | Custom quote (endpoint-based) | No | Forensic depth with deterministic analysis on every alert | No published figures; setup tuning | Enterprise SOCs and MSSPs |
| Dropzone AI | Custom quote | No | Autonomous investigation on top of existing tools | Response stays with humans | SOC teams and MSSPs with alert overload |
| Prophet AI | Custom quote (per investigation) | No | Quick setup and transparent evidence | Costs grow with alert volume | Lean SOCs |
| Torq Socrates | Custom quote | No | Triage plus large-scale automated response | Reviewers report a steep learning curve | Enterprises and MSSPs automating response |
Intezer stands out for how it reaches a verdict: by collecting and analyzing artifacts, including memory and code, rather than relying mainly on a language model reading logs. Endpoint-based pricing is also easier to forecast than per-investigation pricing when alert volumes swing. Torq is the stronger pick when response automation across many tools is the main goal. See more in our cybersecurity agents and IT and DevOps agents guides.
In a bake-off, the same test works for all four: send each tool a month of real alerts, including the low-severity ones your team usually ignores, and compare three numbers. How many alerts reached a human, how many of those were real, and how many real threats were closed as benign. The last figure is the one that matters most, and it is the hardest for any vendor to prove in a demo.
SOCs Buried in Low-Severity and Phishing Alerts
- SOCs with large low-severity backlogs: Intezer investigates every alert, not just high-priority ones.
- Teams with heavy endpoint and phishing volume: forensics, sandboxing and email parsing are core strengths.
- MSSPs: fewer escalations per client means more clients per analyst.
- Teams that distrust pure LLM verdicts: deterministic forensics and visible evidence support each decision.
- Organizations without a SOAR: custom agents and workflows handle response directly.
Small Companies Without Alert Sources and SIEM Shoppers
- Very small companies: without an EDR, SIEM or email security tool there are no alerts to investigate.
- Teams that want a SIEM replacement: look at platforms such as Exaforce.
- Buyers who need a list price: Intezer quotes by endpoint count.
- Microsoft-only shops with E5 licenses: Microsoft Security Copilot may already be included.
- Teams that want fully hands-off remediation everywhere: many actions still need approval.
Testing Escalation Claims on Your Own Alerts
- Vendor metrics: measure escalation rate and accuracy in a trial on your own alerts.
- Tuning period: reviewers say initial configuration needs extra effort.
- Approval design: agree which auto-remediation steps, such as network blocks, may run without sign-off.
- Dependence on inputs: gaps in EDR or email coverage become gaps in Intezer’s view.
- User contact: identity investigations can contact employees, so align messaging with HR and IT.
- Security documentation: request certifications and data handling terms through Intezer’s security page during procurement.
- Memory and file collection: forensic collection pulls files and memory images from endpoints, so confirm where artifacts are stored, for how long and who can access them.
Norwest Leads a $33 Million Series C
- On September 18, 2024, Help Net Security reported that Intezer raised $33 million in a Series C led by Norwest Venture Partners, for $60 million in total funding.
Built to Clear False Positives for Overloaded SOCs
For SOCs and MSSPs whose analysts spend their days closing false positives, Intezer is a strong candidate. It scores 8.7/10 on our scale: excellent on integrations, autonomy and ease of setup, with good peer ratings; published pricing and more public security detail would lift it further.
The forensic approach is the reason to choose it. Many AI SOC tools read logs and summarize; Intezer pulls files, memory and code and analyzes them, which suits endpoint and phishing-heavy environments. Run a trial on a month of real alerts, compare its escalations and verdicts with your analysts’ calls, and get endpoint-based pricing in writing before expanding.
MSSPs should look closely at the economics. If fewer than 2% of alerts need a human, an analyst can cover far more client environments than with manual triage, and endpoint-based pricing maps neatly onto how MSSPs already bill their own customers. The RSM Defense deployment suggests the model works for service providers as well as in-house teams.
Escalation Rates, SOAR Overlap and Endpoint Pricing
How Much Does Intezer AI SOC Cost?
Intezer does not publish figures. Pricing is endpoint-based and tied to organization size, so buyers request a quote based on endpoint count. MSSPs, which Intezer also serves, should confirm multi-client terms.
What Percentage of Alerts Does Intezer Escalate?
Intezer says fewer than 2% of alerts are escalated to humans and that it closes more than 98% of false positives automatically. In 2024 it reported escalating about 4%.
Does Intezer Replace a SOAR?
Intezer says its custom agents and workflows provide automation and response without a separate SOAR. It also integrates with SOAR and ticketing tools such as Tines, ServiceNow and Jira for teams that keep them.
How Is Intezer Different From LLM-Based AI SOC Tools?
Intezer combines deterministic forensics, such as reverse engineering, sandboxing and memory analysis, with AI reasoning, and says it triages most alerts without heavy LLM processing. That gives evidence-backed verdicts rather than summaries alone.
How Long Does Intezer Take to Set Up?
Intezer says setup takes a few minutes with an API key and that results appear in the dashboard within the hour. Reviewers add that fine-tuning after go-live takes some effort.
