Didero Score

Our editorial score across six weighted criteria, based on Didero’s published documentation, pricing and public user ratings. How we score

  • Autonomy9.0

Agents send RFQs and supplier follow-ups, update order records, write purchase orders back to the ERP and escalate exceptions, with human approval reserved for complex decisions.

  • Ease of Setup8.0

Implementation is reported at about two weeks with no customer IT build, as Didero engineers set up connectors and run a sandbox period first.

  • Pricing Value7.0

Pricing is shared by quote; a reported range of $250 to $5,000 per workflow per month is wide, so a written quote matters.

  • Integrations8.3

It connects to ERPs such as SAP and Oracle through APIs and reads email, Slack, PDFs and spreadsheets.

  • Trust and Security7.8

The platform keeps audit trails of every action and routes complex decisions to a human approver before execution.

  • User Sentiment7.5

Public ratings have not appeared yet, so this is a neutral score.

Didero’s pitch is simple: the person who spends all day emailing suppliers to ask whether a purchase order shipped should not have to. In February 2026 the New York startup raised a $30 million Series A, co-led by Chemistry and Headline with Microsoft’s venture fund M12, to sell AI agents that do that chasing, read the replies and update the ERP on their own.

It is best for mid-market manufacturers and distributors that process thousands of purchase orders a year and still run supplier communication through inboxes and spreadsheets. Didero is a newer company, founded in 2023, with more than 30 customers in early 2026, and it shares pricing on request rather than publishing it. We rate it 8.0/10 on our scale. We have not used Didero ourselves; this review is based on the company’s funding announcement, news coverage and Sacra’s company research.

Didero’s $30 Million Raise and What Its Agents Handle

  • Didero raised a $30 million Series A in February 2026, co-led by Chemistry and Headline with Microsoft’s M12, for about $37 million in total funding.
  • Agents send RFQs, chase order confirmations, flag discrepancies, book freight and write purchase orders back to ERPs such as SAP and Oracle.
  • Routine work runs automatically, complex decisions go to a human, and every action is logged in an audit trail.
  • Pricing is not published; Sacra reports about $250 to $5,000 per workflow per month.
  • Implementation is reported at about two weeks, with Didero’s engineers building connectors and a sandbox period before full automation.

Funding and Footprint of an Early-Stage Procurement Startup

Didero is an early-stage company, so its numbers are mostly about funding and footprint rather than published customer metrics.

The investor list matters for a buyer weighing a newer vendor. A $30 million round with Microsoft’s venture arm suggests runway to support enterprise customers and continued product work, and Didero says it fits well within the Microsoft ecosystem. The 30-customer figure is still small, so most buyers will be early adopters and should negotiate accordingly.

Published outcomes are still limited. Beyond the Footprint quote, Didero has not yet published named metrics such as hours saved or late shipments avoided, and doing so would help buyers. Ask for references with similar order volumes and supplier mixes before signing.

Agents That Work Inside Your Existing ERP and Inbox

Didero sits on top of the systems procurement teams already use. It does not ask buyers to move to a new portal; it reads and writes where the work already happens.

Connecting the Data

According to SiliconANGLE and Sacra, Didero connects to a company’s ERP and supply chain software through APIs and secure integrations, and ingests purchase orders, invoices, supplier messages, internal documents, PDFs, spreadsheets and Slack threads. A procurement-tuned language model pulls out details such as minimum order quantities, prices and delivery terms and maps them to a standard format. The agents build context about products, pricing, policies and order history.

RFQs, Order Chasing and Exception Handling by Didero

  • Supplier outreach: agents send RFQ emails and follow up on order confirmations without a buyer writing each message.
  • Order monitoring: they track order status and detect discrepancies, such as a changed price or delivery date in a supplier reply.
  • Exception handling: they apply the company’s business rules and escalate problems to a buyer.
  • System updates: they update order records and write purchase orders back to the ERP, keeping records in sync.
  • Logistics: agents can book freight, according to Sacra.
  • Wider procurement: Sacra lists sourcing events, supplier onboarding with compliance document collection, accounts payable matching, master data synchronization and supplier reliability scoring.

A Purchase Order From Start to Finish

Put together, the documented steps look like this. A buyer releases a purchase order in the ERP. Didero’s agent emails the supplier asking for confirmation and, if no reply arrives, follows up. When the supplier answers, often with a PDF or a line in an email, the agent extracts the confirmed price, quantity and delivery date and compares them with the order. If they match, it updates the record in the ERP. If the supplier has changed the price or pushed out the date, the agent flags the discrepancy and escalates it to the buyer, who decides what to do. The audit trail shows each message and update along the way.

Where Didero Fits in the Procurement Stack

Sacra groups Didero’s competition into three camps: AI-native procurement overlays such as Levelpath, Zip and ORO Labs; direct materials specialists such as SourceDay, Arkestro and Keelvar; and ERP and suite incumbents such as SAP Ariba, Coupa and Oracle that are adding their own agents. Didero’s position is operational: it focuses on the daily back and forth with suppliers on direct materials rather than on intake requests or contract management.

A Two-Week Rollout With a Sandbox Before Go-Live

Sacra reports that implementation takes about two weeks and needs no IT build by the customer. Didero’s engineers set up the connectors, then the agents run in a sandbox before full automation. Didero’s own announcement says that within weeks of integration the agents take on core workflows such as supplier communication, order tracking and exception handling.

Approvals, Negotiations and Master Data Stay With Buyers

Buyers approve complex decisions through a human-in-the-loop step, handle escalated exceptions and own supplier relationships and negotiations. Someone also has to define the business rules the agents follow and keep ERP master data accurate. Every action is logged in an audit trail, which gives procurement leaders a record to review.

A Reported $250 to $5,000 per Workflow in Place of a Rate Card

Didero does not publish a price list. The figures below are as reported by Sacra.

Annual Spend for One Didero Workflow or Several

These scenarios use Sacra’s reported range. Workflow counts and labor figures are our own illustrative assumptions.

  • One workflow, such as PO confirmation follow-up: at $250 to $5,000 a month, the annual cost is $3,000 to $60,000. If it frees 20 hours a week of buyer time at an assumed loaded cost of $45 an hour, that time is worth about $46,800 a year.
  • Three workflows across orders, freight and AP matching: at the same per-workflow range, the cost is $750 to $15,000 a month, or $9,000 to $180,000 a year.
  • A distributor with very high order volume: because price also scales with transaction volume, expect to land toward the top of the range; ask for a quote based on your actual PO count.

Other costs to plan for: cleaning item masters and supplier records, internal time to define business rules and approval thresholds, and review of agent emails during the sandbox period. Ask whether connector work and new workflows added later carry separate fees.

Questions worth asking during a quote: how a workflow is defined, whether adding a supplier or a plant counts as a new workflow, how transaction volume is measured, and what happens to pricing if you move from a pilot to every site.

Didero Compared With QAD Champion AI, Vic.ai and Ramp Agents

Few listed agents do supplier follow-up the way Didero does. The closest options either come inside an ERP or focus on the payables end of procurement.

AgentStarting PriceFree PlanMain StrengthMain Trade-OffBest For

Ramp AgentsFree; Plus $15 per user per monthLimitedPolicy, invoice and payment agents inside a spend platformBuilt for finance spend, not direct materialsCompanies managing card and vendor spend

If your bottleneck is buyers chasing supplier confirmations, Didero is the most direct fit of the four. QAD’s agents make sense if you already run QAD. Vic.ai and Ramp cover the payables and spend side, which can complement Didero’s AP matching rather than replace it. Sacra also names Zip, Levelpath, ORO Labs, SourceDay, Arkestro and Keelvar as competitors. See our AI agents for manufacturing and AI agents for logistics guides for more.

What Comes Next for Didero

Didero’s funding announcement said the company would extend its platform into sourcing and payments and hire across enterprise sales, customer success and technical roles. Sacra’s analysis points to vertical templates for industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food and beverage and packaging, and to expansion into Fortune 500 accounts and Europe. For buyers, that suggests the product will broaden from order follow-up toward a fuller source-to-pay agent, but those parts are still on the roadmap.

High-Volume Manufacturers and Distributors With Many Suppliers

  • Mid-market manufacturers with high PO volume: Sacra describes the target buyer as one processing thousands of purchase orders a year.
  • Distributors managing many suppliers: automatic follow-up and discrepancy detection scale with supplier count.
  • Teams running procurement by email and spreadsheet: the agents work inside those channels instead of requiring a new portal.
  • Companies on SAP or Oracle: Sacra names both as ERPs the agents write back to.
  • Microsoft-centered organizations: Didero says it fits well within the Microsoft ecosystem, and M12 is an investor.

Small Shops, Self-Serve Buyers and Firms Still Cleaning ERP Data

  • Small businesses with a few suppliers: a per-workflow subscription may be more than low volume needs.
  • Buyers who need published pricing or a self-serve trial: every deal is quoted.
  • Companies whose item and supplier data needs cleanup: the agents depend on clean ERP records.
  • Teams already committed to an ERP vendor’s own agents: QAD, SAP, Oracle and others are adding procurement agents into their suites.
  • Organizations that need a long vendor track record: Didero was founded in 2023.

Supplier Emails Sent in Your Name and Data Quality

  • Emails in your name: the agents write to suppliers; review templates and tone during the sandbox period so supplier relationships are protected.
  • Data dependence: Sacra lists dependence on clean ERP and supplier data as a risk; inconsistent records lead to wrong follow-ups.
  • Pricing range: the reported range spans $250 to $5,000 per workflow per month, so get a written quote tied to your PO volume.
  • Competition from incumbents: ERP vendors embedding their own agents could overlap with Didero over time.
  • Published proof: customer metrics and public ratings have not been published yet, so rely on reference calls.
  • Approval thresholds: decide which actions need human sign-off before going live, especially changes to purchase orders.

A February 2026 Series A and a Base of 30-Plus Customers

A Pilot Pays Off When Buyers Spend Hours Chasing Suppliers

For mid-market manufacturers and distributors whose buyers spend hours a day chasing suppliers, Didero is worth a pilot. It scores 8.0/10 on our scale: high on autonomy, because the agents send emails, update ERP records and escalate exceptions on their own, and lower on pricing transparency and track record. A reported two-week setup with vendor-built connectors keeps the cost of trying it reasonable.

Didero’s approach also has a practical advantage over a full suite replacement. Because the agents work through email, spreadsheets and the existing ERP, suppliers do not need to log in to a new portal, and buyers keep their current tools. If the pilot fails, there is little to unwind.

Vendor maturity is the main point to weigh. Didero was founded in late 2023 and had about 30 customers in early 2026, so negotiate a defined pilot, measure confirmation rates and buyer hours saved, and keep approval thresholds tight until the agents show they are reliable with your suppliers.
