Glia Banker Score

Our editorial score across six weighted criteria, based on Glia Banker’s published documentation, pricing and public user ratings. How we score

  • Autonomy8.5

Glia says the agent resolves up to 80% of routine inquiries, completing transfers and payment status checks inside authenticated sessions, and warm-transfers complex requests to staff.

  • Ease of Setup7.8

More than 1,000 pre-built banking goals and 100-plus integrations shorten setup, and G2 reviewers report about three months to implement the Glia platform on average.

  • Pricing Value6.0

Pricing is shared through a demo and quote; publishing price figures would help institutions compare.

  • Integrations8.8

Glia lists 100-plus pre-built banking integrations across online banking, core, loan origination and CRM systems, and the agent can run inside an existing contact center.

  • Trust and Security8.3

Glia offers a contractual guarantee against hallucinations and prompt injections and drafts answers only from approved content, with financial industry compliance guardrails.

  • User Sentiment9.5

The Glia platform holds a 4.8 rating from 90 G2 reviews; the rating covers Glia overall rather than the AI agent alone.

Glia Banker is a customer service AI agent built only for banks and credit unions. It answers by phone and digital channels, completes routine requests such as transfers, balance checks and payment status inside the authenticated banking session, and hands harder cases to a person with a briefing. It is best for institutions whose contact centers are flooded with repetitive calls. Glia says the agent resolves up to 80% of routine inquiries, and one credit union it works with, Service 1st FCU, reported 69 agent hours saved a week.

Pricing is shared by quote rather than published, and the agent works best as part of Glia’s wider contact center platform. Glia serves more than 700 financial institutions and has been valued at more than $1 billion. This review is based on Glia’s product page, announcements and G2 ratings as of October 2026; we have not tested it hands-on.

700 Institutions and a $1 Billion Valuation, Priced by Quote

  • Starting price: Custom quote; no published price figures, free plan or trial.
  • Scale: More than 700 financial institutions, over $150 million raised and a valuation above $1 billion, by Glia’s account.
  • Results: Service 1st FCU had AI answer every call, with 37% fully handled by voice AI, a 96% cut in abandonment and 69 agent hours saved a week, per Glia.
  • Safety: A contractual guarantee against hallucinations and prompt injections, with answers drawn from approved content.
  • Our score: 8.1/10, lifted by strong G2 ratings and integrations; published pricing would lift it further.

Credit Union Results Glia Has Published

Glia publishes more customer results than most banking AI vendors, mostly from credit unions. Each figure was checked on the source page; results are the company’s or its customers’ own.

G2 rating4.8 out of 5 from 90 reviews for the Glia platform; reviewers report about 3 months to implement and 7 months to return on investmentG2, accessed October 2026

For a buyer, the Service 1st and unnamed-bank results are the most useful because they show the effect on staffing rather than chatbot activity. Absorbing 25% more customers with only 5% more agent calls is the kind of result that justifies an AI contract during a merger or a period of growth.

Read the figures in context. They are chosen by Glia, mostly from credit unions, and the 80% automation figure is an upper bound. The G2 rating covers Glia’s whole platform, including its human agent tools, not only the AI agent. The implementation and payback times reported by G2 reviewers are a useful planning guide.

The Renamed AI Front Line of Glia’s Contact Center

Glia Banker is the AI front line of Glia’s banking contact center platform. It replaced the Glia Virtual Assistant name in March 2026, when Glia described it as the next generation of that product.

What the Agent Handles

  1. Greets and identifies. The agent personalizes the greeting using interaction history, by voice or in digital channels.
  2. Understands the request. Glia claims a 95% understanding rate for banking inquiries and more than 1,000 pre-built banking goals.
  3. Completes the task. Inside the authenticated banking environment it checks balances, provides routing numbers, sends payment due date reminders, transfers money between accounts, reports payment status and helps with direct deposit.
  4. Answers questions. Product and policy answers are drafted from the institution’s approved internal documents, and the agent learns tone from top-performing human agents.
  5. Hands off with context. Complex requests are warm-transferred to a human specialist, who is briefed on the conversation so the customer does not repeat themselves.

Voice AI

Glia rebuilt its voice agent in October 2025 with more natural voices, interruption handling, high-accuracy transcription and noise cancellation that removes echoes, cross-talk and background noise. Glia says its response speed is twice as fast as the next alternative it compared with, and that the voice agent handles hundreds of common banking requests end to end. It can run natively on Glia or plug into an existing contact center platform.

Integrations and Deployment

Glia lists more than 100 pre-built banking integrations that connect the agent to online banking, core banking, loan origination and CRM systems. Those connections are what let it act inside the authenticated session rather than only answer questions. Institutions can run the agent natively on Glia’s platform or connect it to an existing contact center system. Outbound text campaigns run through a separate Glia product, Glia Outreach, and Glia also offers bilingual Spanish assistants as a use case.

CoPilot for Staff

In March 2026 Glia added CoPilot for human staff. Knowledge CoPilot gives contact center agents source-backed answers during live calls, and Knowledge 360 gives tellers, trainers and loan officers access to approved institutional knowledge. Glia describes the whole platform as self-learning from approved content and trusted agent interactions.

Disputes, Sensitive Calls and Approved Content Stay Human

Staff handle anything outside the pre-built goals, complex disputes, sensitive conversations and decisions that need judgment. The institution also owns the approved content the agent answers from, so keeping policies and product information current is ongoing work.

A Demo and Quote in Place of Public Prices

Glia does not publish price figures for Glia Banker. The product page links to Glia’s pricing page and offers a demo, and institutions receive a quote.

Staff Time Saved at a Credit Union Contact Center

Without published prices, the practical math is on staff time, using Glia’s published customer results as reference points.

A credit union contact center. Service 1st FCU reported 69 agent hours saved a week. Over a year, that is 3,588 hours, or about 1.7 full-time agents at a standard 40-hour week. Ask Glia to price your contract against a figure like that for your own call volume.

A bank with 10,000 routine inquiries a month. At Glia’s upper-bound claim of 80% automation, up to 8,000 of those would be resolved without an agent. Plan your business case on a lower rate, such as the 37% of calls Service 1st said voice AI fully handled.

Time to value. G2 reviewers report about three months to implement Glia and about seven months to see a return. Budget staff time for integrations, approved content and testing during that period.

Other costs to budget. Integration work with core and online banking, content upkeep, telephony if billed separately, and any wider Glia platform modules you add. Ask whether price is per interaction, per seat or a platform fee.

Per-Interaction Versus Platform Fees and What Gets Bundled

  • Pricing basis: whether Glia Banker is priced per interaction, per resolved request, per seat or as part of a platform fee.
  • Bundling: which contact center, CoPilot and Outreach modules are required or optional.
  • Integration scope: which of your core, online banking and CRM connections are pre-built and which need custom work.
  • Guarantee terms: how the no-hallucination guarantee is measured and what happens if it is breached.
  • Contact center choice: whether pricing or features differ when the agent runs inside another vendor’s contact center.

Glia Banker Compared With interface.ai, KAI by Kasisto and Fin AI Agent

These are the alternatives banks and credit unions most often weigh for AI customer service: two banking specialists and one general-purpose support agent.

ToolStarting PriceFree PlanMain StrengthMain Trade-OffBest For
Glia BankerCustom quoteNo1,000+ banking goals, 100+ integrations and a contractual no-hallucination guaranteeBest inside Glia’s own contact centerBanks and credit unions consolidating voice and digital service

Fin AI Agent$0.99 per outcomeNo (trial available)Published per-outcome pricing and broad compliance coverageNot built for banking transactions out of the boxFintechs with an existing help desk

Glia Banker and interface.ai compete most directly for credit unions and community banks; Glia brings a larger installed base and a fuller contact center, while interface.ai leads on built-in authentication. KAI suits larger banks already on Backbase. Fin is the only option with a published price, but a bank would need to build its own transaction actions. More options are on our customer support agents page.

Credit Unions With Long Holds and Banks Mid-Acquisition

  • Credit unions with long hold times: the published Service 1st and Heartland results show cuts in abandonment and wait times.
  • Banks going through growth or an acquisition: Glia’s unnamed bank absorbed 25% more customers with 5% more agent calls.
  • Institutions already on Glia: the agent, CoPilot and human agent tools share context in one platform.
  • Phone-heavy contact centers: the rebuilt voice agent targets the channel that Glia says still makes up over 70% of interactions. See our voice agents page for more.
  • Risk-averse compliance teams: the contractual no-hallucination guarantee and approved-content answers suit conservative institutions. Compare more on our banking agents page.

Non-Financial Firms and Buyers Wanting Self-Serve Trials

  • Businesses outside financial services: the goals and integrations are built for banking.
  • Institutions wanting a quick self-serve trial: there is no published price or free plan, and reviewers report months of implementation.
  • Banks committed to another contact center vendor’s AI: Glia can run inside other platforms, but its full value comes with its own.
  • Fintechs that mainly need help desk deflection: a general support agent with published pricing may be simpler.

Up to 80% Automation and a Customer’s 37% Result

  • Upper-bound figures: 80% automation and 70% capacity gains are maximums from Glia. Service 1st, a featured customer, reported 37% of calls fully handled by voice AI.
  • Read the guarantee: the no-hallucination and prompt-injection guarantee is contractual. Check its definitions, exclusions and remedies.
  • Implementation time: G2 reviewers report about three months on average, so plan staffing for the transition.
  • Content upkeep: answers come from approved documents, so outdated content means outdated answers.
  • Separate products: outbound texting sits in Glia Outreach and staff knowledge tools in CoPilot, so confirm which modules your quote includes.
  • Platform fit: adopting Glia Banker often means adopting more of Glia. Review exit terms and data export for conversation history.

CoPilot Launches and the Virtual Assistant Gets a New Name

On March 30, 2026, Glia launched CoPilot, an agentic knowledge tool for banking staff, and introduced Glia Banker as the next generation of the Glia Virtual Assistant, citing up to 80% autonomous resolution of routine inquiries. Busey Bank and Diamond Credit Union were quoted as customers.

On October 14, 2025, at its Interact 2025 event, Glia released next-generation voice AI for banks and credit unions with more natural voices, interruption handling and noise cancellation, and said it can extend frontline capacity by up to 70%.

Among the Safer Ways to Automate Routine Banking Requests

For banks and credit unions that want to automate routine phone and digital requests without giving up control of what the agent says, Glia Banker is one of the most established options, and it scores 8.1/10 on our scale. It completes real tasks inside the banking session, connects to more than 100 banking systems, and backs its accuracy with a contractual guarantee. Published customer results and a 4.8 G2 rating from 90 reviews for the Glia platform add confidence.

Glia could lift its score by publishing pricing, and reviewers put implementation at about three months, so plan for that. Start with your highest-volume routine requests, measure the share fully resolved against Service 1st’s 37% rather than the 80% headline, and review the guarantee terms with legal. Compare other options on our banking agents page.
