Outreach Omni Answers Pipeline Questions and Sends the Follow-Up

Outreach launched Omni on April 27, 2026, as a chat agent that answers questions about pipeline, accounts, deals and team performance, then lets the rep act in the same thread. A manager can ask which late-stage deals went quiet, ask why one stalled and send the buyer an email that addresses the objection, without opening a second tool. Omni works in the Outreach app, in Slack and on mobile.

The release also brought Agent Studio, a no-code canvas for RevOps teams to build and schedule their own agents. Both suit sales teams already running sequences and calls in Outreach, whose platform is rated 4.3 out of 5 from 3,671 G2 reviews. Pricing is by quote. We score Omni 8.1/10 on our scale.

Points Sales Leaders Raise About Outreach Omni

  • Launched April 27, 2026, in Outreach’s Spring 2026 release, alongside Agent Studio and several new agents.
  • Omni answers pipeline questions and can draft and send follow-up emails inside one conversation.
  • It runs in Outreach, Slack and the mobile app, and chat history carries across all three.
  • Conversations can become scheduled personal agents; RevOps builds team agents in Agent Studio.
  • Adding prospects to sequences and updating records are listed as future enhancements.

What Omni Does Today and What Outreach Lists as Next

Omni reads the revenue data Outreach already holds: accounts, deals, prospects, recorded conversations, activity and knowledge resources such as enablement content, case studies and technical documents. It keeps context through a conversation, so a rep can narrow a question without starting over.

Questions It Answers

Outreach positions Omni against dashboards. A dashboard shows what someone decided to track. Omni lets a rep ask about anything in the data, such as “which deals over $50,000 have had no buyer reply in ten days” or “what objections came up on calls with this account last month.”

Omni works across the whole pipeline, while the older Smart Account, Deal and Meeting Assist features cover one record at a time. A sales manager preparing a forecast call can ask about the team’s full commit list in one thread.

Actions It Takes

Today Omni drafts and sends follow-up emails, including replies that handle objections raised on a call. Users can also turn a conversation into a scheduled personal agent. A rep who asks every Monday for deals at risk can save that as an agent that runs on its own.

Actions Listed for Later

The Omni product page lists three future enhancements: adding prospects to sequences, updating records and turning one-time plays into repeatable workflows. Buyers should treat these as roadmap items and ask Outreach for dates.

Reaching Other Systems

Outreach MCP lets Omni connect to tools outside Outreach, including CRMs, enablement platforms and product tools. A rep could ask a question that combines Outreach call data with product usage, as long as that system is connected.

Agent Studio for RevOps Builders

Agent Studio is where operations teams build agents for everyone else. It offers a visual canvas and ready-to-run workflow templates, and Outreach says teams can deploy a specialized agent in minutes. Agents can run on a schedule.

Typical uses follow the release’s examples: a weekly pipeline hygiene check, a pre-meeting brief for every first call or an alert when engagement on a key account drops. Because the agents read Outreach data, RevOps does not need to export to another automation tool.

Outreach CPO Nithya Lakshmanan described the split in the launch release: Omni is the conversational interface, and autonomous agents handle the execution. In her words, reps move out of doing the work themselves and into “orchestrating it.”

The Narrower Agents That Shipped With Omni

The Spring 2026 release added or updated several single-purpose agents. Each one covers a defined task.

  • Meeting Prep Agent: briefs reps and leaders before meetings.
  • Deal Agent: sends suggested deal-field updates to Slack, where reps accept or edit them.
  • Smart Account Assist and Personalization Agent: generate account answers and outreach copy grounded in Outreach Knowledge.
  • Smart Kaia Coach: scores rep skills across recorded meetings.

Outreach also added Deal Alerts for engagement drops and changed deal attributes, AI Topics Explorer for trends in products, competitors and objections, and an Outcomes Report that links engagement and deal attributes to win rates.

Outreach Knowledge ties these together. It holds company-approved content so that agents answer and write from the same source of truth, which keeps messaging consistent across a large sales floor.

Outreach Platform Figures Behind the Omni Launch

Release coverageOmni, Agent Studio and six named agents and featuresCRM Magazine, April 28, 2026

The review count is the figure buyers should weigh most. With 3,671 G2 reviews, Outreach’s rating rests on a large base of daily users, so the 4.3 average is stable. Those reviews cover the platform, not Omni alone, since Omni is new.

The two million opportunities a month explains why Outreach can build a chat agent on its own data. Few sales tools hold call recordings, email activity and deal fields for that many deals in one place.

Omni Compared With Agentforce, Breeze and Jason AI

Each of these agents works on sales data, but they start from different systems. We built the table from published pricing recorded in our own listings.

AgentStarting PriceFree PlanMain StrengthMain GapFits
Outreach OmniCustom quoteNoChat over Outreach call, email and deal data, in Slack and mobileSeveral actions still on the roadmapTeams already on Outreach

Jason AI by Reply$500 a month for 1,000 active contactsNoRuns outbound, covering lead finding through booked meetingsBuilt for outbound, not deal reviewsSmall outbound teams

Agentforce reported 4.3 out of 5 from 1,697 G2 reviews on the same comparison page, level with Outreach’s average on fewer reviews. The real choice usually follows the system a team already uses. Salesforce customers will look at Agentforce first and HubSpot customers at Breeze. Omni makes sense where Outreach holds the call and email history. Jason AI is a different kind of tool: it replaces outbound prospecting work, while Omni helps reps manage deals they already have. Our sales agents page and CRM automation page list more options.

Pricing Questions for the Outreach Sales Call

Outreach lists its pricing as contact sales, and G2 shows the same. Omni and Agent Studio do not have separate public prices, so buyers should ask how they are packaged.

Four questions settle most of it. Is Omni included for every Outreach seat or sold as an add-on? Are Agent Studio agents metered by run? Does Outreach MCP cost extra? And will the future actions, such as adding prospects to sequences, come at no added charge when they ship?

Teams renewing an Outreach contract are in the best position to negotiate. Bundling Omni into a renewal is usually easier than adding it mid-term.

A Sales Manager’s Forecast Week With Omni

Here is how the documented features fit one manager’s week. The steps use only capabilities Outreach lists today.

On Monday the manager asks Omni in Slack for every commit deal with no buyer reply in seven days. Omni returns the list with last activity for each. She asks a follow-up about the largest one and gets the objections raised on the last two calls. From the same thread she has Omni draft a reply to the buyer’s pricing concern, edits one line and sends it.

On Tuesday she saves the Monday question as a scheduled personal agent, so the list arrives every week without asking. Her RevOps partner builds a team agent in Agent Studio that posts a pre-forecast brief to the channel each Thursday.

Before Wednesday’s first meetings, the Meeting Prep Agent briefs her reps on each account. The Deal Agent posts suggested field changes in Slack after calls, and reps accept or edit them.

On Friday the Outcomes Report shows which engagement patterns line up with won deals this quarter. The manager uses it to coach two reps whose deals stall after the first demo, with Smart Kaia Coach scores as a starting point.

Rolling Omni Out Across a Sales Floor

Start with managers. They ask the broadest questions and gain the most time back, and they can judge the answers against what they already know about their deals.

Load Outreach Knowledge before reps start sending Omni-drafted emails. Approved case studies, pricing language and objection answers give the agent the right material, and every rep then writes from the same source.

Set a review rule for sent email. Many teams will want reps to read each Omni draft before it goes out for the first few weeks, then relax the rule for routine follow-ups.

Track two numbers during the pilot: time managers spend on forecast prep and reply rates on Omni-drafted follow-ups compared with the team’s usual rate.

Sales Teams That Will Use Omni Daily

Front-line managers get the most immediate value. Forecast prep means pulling deal notes, last touches and call highlights for a dozen opportunities. Omni can answer those questions in a single thread from Slack.

Account executives running many mid-stage deals also benefit. Asking which buyers have gone quiet, then sending a follow-up that answers the last objection, turns two tasks into one.

RevOps teams who field the same report requests every week can move them into Agent Studio and schedule them. That frees analysts for one-off questions.

Teams Better Served by Waiting

Teams not on Outreach should not buy it for Omni alone, since Omni’s answers come from Outreach data. Moving sequences, call recording and deal tracking to a new platform is a large project, and the agent by itself is a thin reason to take it on. Those teams will get more from the agent built into the CRM or sales tool they already run. Small teams that want an agent to find leads and book meetings may prefer an AI SDR with a published monthly price.

Teams that need Omni to enroll prospects in sequences or update CRM fields today should wait until those actions ship. Outreach lists them as future enhancements.

Data Access and Governance in Omni

Omni conversations are private to the user and their workspace, and chat history is saved automatically. Omni draws on the same data the user can already see in Outreach.

The Omni page links to Outreach’s governance, trust and GDPR pages. Enterprise buyers will want written answers on which AI models process their call transcripts, whether customer data trains any model and how long chat logs are kept. Outreach could add these details to the Omni page itself, which would help security teams sign off faster.

Emails Omni sends go out under the rep’s name, so teams should agree on review rules. A sensible start is to let Omni draft and have reps send until the team trusts the output.

Spring 2026 Coverage of Outreach Omni

How Omni Lands at 8.1 on Our Scale

Omni scores 8.1/10. It earns high marks for user sentiment, based on thousands of G2 reviews of the platform, and for integrations through Slack, mobile and Outreach MCP. Autonomy is good but not complete: Omni sends emails and runs scheduled personal agents, while record updates and sequence enrollment are still to come.

Pricing value scores lowest because nothing is published. Trust and security sits in the middle: conversations are private and answers draw on approved content, and a fuller product-level security note would raise it. For Outreach customers, the case is strong enough to ask for a trial in the next renewal. Others should compare it with the agent built into their own CRM.

Revenue Teams’ Questions on Outreach Omni

What Is the Difference Between Omni and Agent Studio?

Omni is the chat agent each user talks to. Agent Studio is a builder where RevOps creates and schedules custom agents for the team.

Can Omni Update Salesforce Fields for Me?

Not yet from Omni itself. Outreach lists updating records as a future enhancement, and the Deal Agent currently suggests field updates in Slack for reps to accept.

Does Omni Work in Slack?

Yes. Omni runs in Slack, in the mobile app and in Outreach, with chat history shared across them.

Is Omni Priced Separately From Outreach?

Outreach does not publish separate pricing. Ask your account team whether Omni is bundled with your seats or sold as an add-on.

Who Can See My Omni Conversations?

Outreach says conversations are private to the user and their workspace, and history is saved automatically.

Can Omni Use Data From Tools Outside Outreach?

Yes, through Outreach MCP. Outreach names CRMs, enablement platforms and product tools as systems Omni can connect to, so a question can combine call data with information held elsewhere.
