Rep AI’s sales agent starts at $12 a month for stores with 3,000 monthly sessions, which makes it one of the cheapest ways for a Shopify brand to put an AI agent on its storefront. The agent watches for shoppers about to leave, starts a conversation, recommends products and can complete order tasks such as returns and cancellations.
It has a 4.6 rating from 122 reviews on the Shopify App Store and 4.9 from 66 on G2. The company is led by co-founder and CEO Yoav Oz.
How It Works
Rep AI sells three agents. AI Sales spots drop-off behavior and approaches shoppers proactively, searches the catalog, recommends and upsells products, suggests in-stock alternatives and runs abandoned cart recovery. AI Support handles order status, returns and exchanges, cancellations, order changes, email replies and subscription edits. AI Concierge combines both with fuller onboarding and priority support.
When the agent cannot help, it collects the shopper’s name and email and opens a ticket in Zendesk or Gorgias with the conversation attached. Merchants can create custom sales skills and use test-and-train screens to find gaps in the agent’s knowledge. A beta add-on extends the agent to email, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp.
Pricing
Prices scale with monthly website sessions. AI Sales runs from $12 a month at 3,000 sessions to $2,510 at 500,000. AI Support starts at $49 a month at 10,000 sessions, and AI Concierge at $130. Yearly billing saves about 20%. Extra sessions cost $12 per 1,000, capped at $1,000 per period. Add-ons include $200-a-month builder tools and social and messaging AI at $0.75 per resolved conversation. All agents have a 14-day trial with no credit card.
What to Watch Out For
The headline price only covers web sessions. Social channels, help desk seats and add-ons are billed separately, and traffic spikes trigger overage. Starting prices differ between the homepage, pricing page and Shopify listing, so confirm the quote. Some reviewers say the agent gave confident but wrong answers until it was trained. WooCommerce and Salesforce Commerce Cloud stores get reduced features. Sales attribution counts only purchases made in the same session after a real conversation, which is stricter than some rivals, but merchants should still compare it with their own analytics. The vendor advertises an ROI guarantee, though written terms were not found in its help center.
