Fellou is a web browser built around an AI agent. You give it a goal, it drafts a plan you can edit, and then it browses, clicks, fills forms, pulls data and writes up results, often in a background workspace while you do something else. It is best for researchers, marketers, recruiters and solo operators who spend hours on multi-site web chores and are willing to switch browsers. Cost per task is the main point to plan for: paid plans below Ultra cover an estimated 8 to 20 tasks a month.
There is a free plan, and paid plans start at $19 a month. Fellou says more than 1 million people have used it since its April 2025 launch. We rate it 8.4/10 on our scale. We have not used it hands-on; this review is based on Fellou’s website and pricing, its press release and news coverage.
A Free Agentic Browser With Paid Tiers From $19
- Starting price: free with a 1,000-Spark bonus; Plus $19 a month, Pro $39.90, Ultra $199.90.
- What it does alone: plans and runs multi-step web tasks, research reports and scheduled workflows, including on logged-in sites.
- Control: you can edit the plan first and view, approve, pause or stop each step.
- Reach: more than 1 million users by Fellou’s count, and a place in Microsoft’s Windows 365 for Agents program.
- Our score: 8.4/10, strong on autonomy, with room to grow through larger credit allowances and fuller security documentation.
Plans and Launch Facts From Fellou and TechCrunch
These figures come from Fellou’s pricing page, its September 2025 release, a sponsored TechCrunch Brand Studio article and TechCrunch news coverage.
| Fact | Detail | Source and Date |
|---|---|---|
| Plans | Free; Plus $19 a month; Pro $39.90; Ultra $199.90 | Fellou pricing |
| Annual prices | Plus $192, Pro $384, Ultra $1,920 a year | Fellou pricing |
| Credit allowances | 1,000 Sparks free bonus (about 4 tasks), 2,000 on Plus (about 8), 5,000 on Pro (about 20) | Fellou pricing |
| Users | More than 1 million since the April 2025 launch, by Fellou’s count | Business Wire release, September 2, 2025 |
| Fellou CE launch | Spatial browser with parallel agents, scheduled execution and Spark previews | Business Wire release, September 2, 2025 |
| Benchmark claim | 80% success rate on the Online-Mind2Web benchmark, claimed by the company in sponsored content | TechCrunch Brand Studio, September 5, 2025 |
| Leadership | Founder and CEO Dominic Xie, a 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia honoree | TechCrunch Brand Studio, September 5, 2025 |
| Microsoft program | One of five companies accepted into Windows 365 for Agents, alongside Manus, Genspark, Simular and TinyFish | TechCrunch, December 2, 2025 |
For a buyer, the credit allowances are the most useful numbers. On Fellou’s own estimates, Plus works out to about $2.38 per task and Pro to about $2.00 per task at monthly prices, before any task that runs long. That is cheap compared with a person’s time on a research job, but expensive if you want an agent doing dozens of small chores a day.
Treat the benchmark figure with care. The 80% Online-Mind2Web success claim appears in paid content that TechCrunch editorial did not write. The Microsoft program listing, by contrast, comes from TechCrunch news reporting and is a more reliable signal that Fellou is being taken seriously by a major platform.
A Browser With an Agent Layer That Takes the Wheel
Fellou looks and behaves like a browser, with an agent layer that can take over the work.
Installing the Browser and Signing Into Your Sites
- Download the browser: install Fellou from its website and create an account.
- Sign in to your sites: log in to the services you want Fellou to use, such as X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Notion or Salesforce.
- Pick a plan: start free with the 1,000-Spark bonus, or choose Plus, Pro or Ultra.
- Grant computer access if needed: local apps and files are used only with your permission.
Deep Action and Deep Search Running Multi-Step Jobs
- Deep Action: turns a single prompt into a multi-step plan, such as researching competitor pricing, comparing features or compiling a report, and carries it out across sites.
- Deep Search: researches across the web and produces reports with sources, including from logged-in accounts.
- Automations: scrapes data, fills forms and moves information between platforms, for example from LinkedIn into Notion.
- Scheduled tasks: runs workflows at set times or on a recurring basis.
- Shadow workspace: runs several tasks in the background while you browse other sites.
- Computer use: with permission, operates local apps and manages files.
- Creation: produces reports with charts, slides, spreadsheets and HTML, CSS and JavaScript code.
Editing Plans and Pausing Steps Mid-Run
You can review and edit the generated plan before it runs, and view, edit, approve, pause or halt any step while it works. Fellou describes this as never working in a black box. You still own the goal, the accounts it can reach and the final check on anything it submits or publishes.
Fellou CE
The Concept Edition, released in September 2025, adds a spatial interface with depth, a home hub for bookmarks, history, files and tasks, and dedicated zones that keep agent work separate from your own browsing. Multiple agents can work on separate layers at once, and each Deep Action shows an estimate of Spark usage before it runs. Fellou says sensitive information stays on the user’s device.
Eko for Developers
Fellou also publishes Eko, an open-source framework for building custom agents in natural language and JavaScript, with documentation and a quick-start guide on its site.
Competitor Price Checks and Lead Lists to Try First
Fellou’s examples point to the kind of work it handles best: competitor pricing checks, feature comparisons, research reports, finding candidates or leads on one site and logging them in another, and recurring monitoring on a schedule. These share three traits. They span several sites, they follow a pattern a plan can describe, and a person can check the result quickly.
Tasks that suit it less are one-click jobs, where the overhead of a plan and the Spark cost outweigh the saving, and high-stakes actions such as payments, account changes or public posts, where a single wrong step matters more than speed.
Testing Fellou With Two Weekly Tasks on the Free Bonus
- Use the free bonus on real work: pick two tasks you already do by hand each week.
- Read the plan: check whether Deep Action’s plan matches how you would do the job, and edit it before running.
- Watch the Spark preview: compare the estimate with what the task actually used.
- Time it: note how long the task took Fellou in the background versus doing it yourself.
- Check accuracy: verify every figure in research reports against the sources it lists.
- Test a schedule: set one recurring workflow and confirm it runs and reports as expected.
Four Plans Priced in Sparks, Fellou’s Usage Credits
Fellou publishes four plans, priced in Sparks, its usage credits. Chat and Deep Search are free on every plan.
| Plan | Price | Billing | What’s Included | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | None | 1,000-Spark new-user bonus (about 4 tasks), Browser Use, Computer Use and creative agents | 2 scheduled tasks; no priority support |
| Plus | $19 per month or $192 per year | Monthly or annual | 2,000 Sparks a month (about 8 tasks), priority support, early access | 3 scheduled tasks |
| Pro | $39.90 per month or $384 per year | Monthly or annual | 5,000 Sparks a month (about 20 tasks), priority support, early access | 5 scheduled tasks |
| Ultra | $199.90 per month or $1,920 per year | Monthly or annual | Unlimited Sparks and scheduled tasks for a limited time | Unlimited allowance marked limited time |
Concurrent tasks are listed as unlimited on all plans for a limited time. Fellou notes that consumption varies significantly with workflow complexity, so task counts are estimates.
A Freelancer’s $192 to $228 Year on Plus
A freelancer running a few research jobs a month. Plus costs $228 a year on monthly billing or $192 on annual billing, for roughly eight tasks a month.
A recruiter or marketer running about 20 tasks a month. Pro costs $478.80 a year on monthly billing or $384 annually.
A heavy daily user. Ultra costs $2,398.80 a year monthly or $1,920 annually. Because the unlimited allowance is marked limited time, check the terms before paying for a year.
Hidden and variable costs. Long or complex tasks use more Sparks than the estimates suggest. Use the Spark preview before each Deep Action to avoid surprises.
Fellou Compared With Comet, Opera Neon and Genspark Super Agent
These are the closest consumer agents for web tasks: two other AI browsers and one general agent that works in the cloud.
| Tool | Starting Price | Free Plan | Main Strength | Main Trade-Off | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fellou | Free; Plus $19 per month | Yes | Background, scheduled and parallel agent tasks in a browser | Small credit allowances | Power users automating research and web chores |
| Comet by Perplexity | Free | Yes | Free AI browser with strong search | Lighter on scheduled automation | Individuals who want a free AI browser |
| Opera Neon | Free; Neon Standard reported at $19.90 per month | Limited | Agentic browser from an established browser maker | New browser to adopt | AI power users open to switching |
| Genspark Super Agent | Free; Plus $19.99 per month (annual) | Limited | Produces slides, sheets, documents and sites | Not a browser in your own sessions | People who want finished deliverables |
Fellou stands out for scheduled and background tasks inside your own logged-in sessions. Comet is the free option, Opera Neon comes from an established browser company, and Genspark focuses on finished outputs rather than browsing in your accounts. If you would rather keep Chrome, Claude in Chrome adds an agent to it. More options are on our browser automation agents page.
The deciding question is whether you want the agent inside your daily browser or alongside it. Fellou and Opera Neon replace the browser; Claude in Chrome adds to the one you have; Genspark works in the cloud and hands back finished files. Teams that care most about predictable monthly cost should compare how many tasks each plan really covers, since Fellou’s allowances are stated in tasks while others meter usage differently.
Researchers, Recruiters and Marketers Doing Repeat Web Work
- Researchers and analysts: Deep Search and Deep Action compile sourced reports across many sites.
- Recruiters and marketers: workflows that pull data from one site and enter it in another suit browser automations.
- Solo operators with recurring web chores: scheduled tasks run without supervision.
- People curious about agentic browsing: the free plan gives about four tasks to try.
Regulated Teams, Managed IT and Budget Heavy Users
- Regulated teams: Fellou’s pages name no security certifications.
- Companies with managed browsers: IT policies may not allow a new browser.
- High-volume users on a budget: 20 tasks a month on Pro may run out quickly with daily use.
- Developers building products: infrastructure such as Browserbase or Steel fits better.
Spark Allowances and How Many Tasks They Cover
Credits are the main thing to plan around. Free, Plus and Pro allowances translate to roughly 4, 8 and 20 tasks a month by Fellou’s estimates, and complex jobs can use more. Ultra’s unlimited usage is labeled limited time, so pricing could change.
Logged-in agents call for care. Fellou works inside accounts where you are signed in, which is powerful and means a wrong step or a malicious page could lead to an unwanted post, message or form submission. Review plans before running them and use the pause and stop controls on important accounts.
Security information could be fuller. Fellou’s pages describe on-device handling of sensitive information in Fellou CE and secure learning for its memory feature, and listing certifications would help. Businesses should ask about data storage and model providers before rolling it out.
Switching browsers has a cost. Bookmarks, extensions, password managers and company single sign-on all need to work in Fellou before it can replace your daily browser. You can keep your main browser and use Fellou only for agent tasks, which works but means signing in to sites twice.
Check headline claims against your own tests. The benchmark score and speed claims come from the company, a sponsored article and testimonials. Test your own tasks during the free bonus.
Fellou CE and Parallel Agents in September 2025
On September 2, 2025, Fellou launched Fellou CE, a spatial agentic browser with parallel multi-agent operation, scheduled execution, a central home hub and Spark usage previews, saying it had passed 1 million users since its April 2025 launch.
On December 2, 2025, TechCrunch reported that Fellou was among five companies accepted into Microsoft’s Windows 365 for Agents program, alongside Manus AI, Genspark, Simular and TinyFish.
Worth Starting Free for Solo Web Task Automation
For individuals who want an agent to run multi-step web tasks in their own accounts, Fellou is worth trying, starting on the free plan. It scores 8.4/10 on our scale. It goes further than most AI browsers on autonomy, with editable plans, background workspaces, scheduling and local computer use.
Larger credit allowances, settled terms for the unlimited tier, named security certifications and independent results would lift the score. Use the free bonus on two or three real tasks, check the Spark preview, and only then choose between Plus and Pro.
