ServiceTitan reported $292.8 million in revenue for its fiscal second quarter of 2027, up 21%, and told investors it had beaten its goal of doubling locations on Max, its agentic operating system for the trades. Atlas is the agent at the top of that system: a chief-of-staff-level assistant, in ServiceTitan’s words, that answers owners’ questions about the business, builds workflows, watches for problems and delegates work from a dedicated mobile app.
Atlas suits owners and managers of residential, commercial and roofing contractors who already run their business on ServiceTitan. Timing is the main consideration: as of October 2026 the full agent is in a closed alpha for admins, and ServiceTitan says its pricing and packaging are not yet set. We rate it 7.6/10 on our scale, a score that mostly reflects availability and price transparency. We have not used ServiceTitan ourselves; this review is based on ServiceTitan’s announcements, blog, pricing page and investor results as reported by the press.
Max Customers Get Atlas Before Everyone Else
- ServiceTitan expects more than 700 enrolled Max locations by fiscal year-end, and Max customers get Atlas first, before general availability.
- Atlas writes its own report queries, builds and edits rule-based workflows, and alerts owners when rules trip, such as variance above 5%.
- A Max pilot for commercial and roofing contractors runs live site walk, daily log and invoice review agents, with more agents planned.
- Atlas is in closed alpha for admins only, and ServiceTitan says its pricing and packaging are not yet set.
- Against Procore Agents, Atlas targets trade contractors’ whole business rather than project paperwork on large builds.
Investor Results That Show ServiceTitan’s Scale
ServiceTitan is a public company, so its scale is well documented even though Atlas itself is new. These facts come from company releases and investor results.

For a buyer, the investor numbers say more about the vendor than the agent. A company with more than $1.1 billion in expected annual revenue and net dollar retention above 110% has the money and customer base to keep building Atlas, and its stated goal of 700 Max locations shows where the first agent users will come from.
The availability row is the one to weigh most. Atlas has been talked about since 2025, but the chief-of-staff version described in October 2026 is still limited to admins in an alpha. Buyers signing a ServiceTitan contract today should treat Atlas as a roadmap item and price the platform on what is live.
Atlas Reading the Same Data as Dispatch and Invoicing
Atlas runs inside ServiceTitan, the field service and business management platform many trade contractors use for dispatching, scheduling, call booking, invoicing and pricebooks. Because Atlas reads the same company-wide data the rest of the business uses, it answers from live records rather than a static report.
What Atlas Does Today
- Reporting: pulls from existing reports, including custom ones, and writes a custom query when the metric an owner asks for does not exist yet.
- Analysis: answers follow-up questions about why a number moved, and reviews conversations from jobs that ended in recalls, including in-home technician recordings made with consent, then recommends fixes.
- Automation: builds and modifies rule-based workflows, and recommends who should handle a task when a report shows a problem.
- Monitoring: notifies users when a rule they define trips, such as variance above 5%.
- Marketing: pulls marketing costs from the account and cleans them up for return-on-ad-spend analysis.
Owners talk to Atlas by typing or by voice, start on the mobile app and pick up the same conversation on the web. ServiceTitan says Atlas will eventually replace its Office app.
Earlier Capabilities for Field and Office
When ServiceTitan first introduced Atlas in 2025, it described the agent running reports, locating jobs and dispatching technicians from plain-English commands. It could act on the business, for example throttling marketing spend when schedules were full and triggering new campaigns when demand dropped. For commercial operations, ServiceTitan listed auto-filled daily logs, RFI and change order generation and faster accounts receivable work.
The Max Agents for Commercial and Roofing Contractors
Atlas is paired with Max, which ServiceTitan opened to every residential in-home contractor and to a limited pilot of commercial and roofing contractors in October 2026. Max agents use context from demand, field and office to decide next steps and coordinate work across connected workflows.
- Live in the pilot: a site walk and findings write-up copilot, a daily log agent and an invoice review agent.
- Coming soon: an agreement review agent, touchless accounts payable, a collections agent and an advisor for applications for payment.
- Planned commercial agents: a cross-sell agent that turns new installs into service agreement proposals, a technician development agent that schedules toward certification hours, and a construction estimate variance agent that forecasts variance from past budgets and actuals.
- Planned roofing agents: a claims and supplement agent that reconciles an adjuster’s scope with the estimate, a production agent that books crews and deliveries and reschedules for weather, and a subcontractor management agent that issues work orders and calculates pay.
Owners Approve the Rules and Workflows Atlas Builds
Owners decide which rules Atlas watches, approve the workflows it builds and act on its recommendations about who should handle a problem. Contractors should set clear limits on who can use Atlas and review the workflows it creates. Field work, customer relationships and the judgment calls on pricing and staffing stay with people.
Only ServiceTitan Users, and Max Members First
- Run on ServiceTitan: Atlas works only for ServiceTitan customers.
- Join Max: Max customers receive Atlas for all users before it opens to everyone.
- Commercial and roofing firms: ask about the limited Max pilot, which pairs Atlas with core automations.
- Everyone else: wait for general availability, which follows the Max rollout.
Per-Technician Packages With No Published Prices
ServiceTitan publishes package names but no prices. Based on its pricing page, pricing is per technician and every package requires a quote. ServiceTitan says its pricing and packaging are not yet set.
| Plan | Price | Billing | What’s Included | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | Request pricing | Per technician | Dispatching, scheduling, call booking, invoicing and pricebook | Mobile estimates and payroll not listed |
| Essentials | Request pricing | Per technician | Starter features plus mobile estimates and payroll management | Advanced reporting not confirmed |
| The Works | Request pricing | Per technician | Adds configurable payroll, advanced reporting, commission tracking and customizable memberships | Quote only |
| Max | Not published | Not published | Agentic operating system with agents; first access to Atlas | Pilot only for commercial and roofing |
| Atlas | Not yet set | Not yet set | Chief-of-staff agent on mobile and web | Closed alpha for admins |
How a 12-Tech HVAC Shop’s Bill Scales With Headcount
With no published figures, these scenarios show how ServiceTitan’s pricing rules affect different contractors.
- A residential HVAC company with 12 technicians: per-technician pricing means the bill scales with field headcount. Max is open to every residential in-home contractor, so this company can ask for Max and get Atlas ahead of general availability.
- A commercial mechanical contractor with 40 technicians: the same per-technician model applies, and Atlas comes through the limited Max pilot. Confirm in writing what the pilot costs and what happens to pricing when it ends.
- A roofing contractor that subcontracts most installs: per-technician pricing may cost less when field work is subcontracted, but the roofing agents that would manage subcontractors are still planned, not live.
Variable costs to plan for: onboarding and staff training time; Pro Products such as its AI Virtual Agent, which are sold separately; and the eventual price of Atlas once packaging is set.
ServiceTitan Atlas Compared With Procore Agents, Handoff and Podium AI Employee
Atlas competes less with other agents than with the idea of running a contracting business on one system. The comparison below uses agents on our site that serve contractors in different ways.
| Agent | Starting Price | Free Plan | Main Strength | Main Trade-Off | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ServiceTitan Atlas | Custom quote; Atlas pricing not yet set | No (demo) | Acts on the full operating data of a trade contractor | Closed alpha; ServiceTitan required | Trade contractors already on ServiceTitan |
| Procore Agents | Custom quote | No (demo) | RFI, submittal, daily log and contract agents on project records | No published pricing | General contractors running projects in Procore |
| Handoff | $119 per month, billed annually | No (7-day trial) | AI estimates, proposals and payments with published prices | Built for residential, not commercial service work | Remodelers and small residential builders |
| Podium AI Employee | Custom quote | No (demo) | Answers leads and customer messages for local businesses | Requires a Podium subscription | Home services firms that lose leads after hours |
Procore Agents are the closer match for general contractors managing large builds; Atlas is for the business side of trade contractors. Handoff is the cheaper, self-serve choice for residential remodelers, and Podium AI Employee covers customer conversations rather than operations. More options are in our AI agents for construction and workflow automation guides.
Max Contractors and Owners Running Things From a Phone
- ServiceTitan customers on Max: they get Atlas first and for all users.
- Owners who live on their phones: the mobile app and voice mode put reports and alerts where owners already work.
- Contractors who struggle to get answers from reports: Atlas writes custom queries and explains why numbers moved.
- Commercial and roofing firms willing to pilot: the Max pilot already runs daily log, site walk and invoice review agents.
- Growing companies with variance problems: rule-based alerts, such as variance above 5%, catch issues without someone checking dashboards.
Non-ServiceTitan Firms and Anyone Who Needs It Today
- Contractors not on ServiceTitan: Atlas runs inside ServiceTitan.
- Buyers who need the agent now: the full Atlas agent is still in closed alpha.
- General contractors managing large construction projects: Procore Agents or Trunk Tools focus on project documents.
- Small remodelers on a tight budget: Handoff publishes prices and offers a trial.
- Teams that want price certainty before signing: ServiceTitan shares pricing by quote, and Atlas pricing is still being set.
Alpha Status, Roadmap Timing and Workflow Controls
- Alpha status: the full Atlas agent is limited to admins in a closed alpha.
- Roadmap timing: ServiceTitan’s release notes that products marked as coming soon may not arrive on schedule or at all.
- Pricing still being set: Atlas pricing and packaging are not yet decided, so a contract signed now may not cover it.
- Actions on live data: Atlas can build and edit workflows and earlier versions adjusted marketing spend. Limit who can use it and review its changes.
- Recordings and consent: Atlas can review in-home technician recordings made with consent; check your consent process and local recording laws.
- Platform commitment: the more of the business runs through ServiceTitan agents, the harder a later switch becomes.
The Atlas Mobile App Debut at Pantheon
- On October 6, 2026, at Pantheon in Orlando, ServiceTitan launched the Atlas mobile app, expanded Max to all residential in-home contractors and opened a commercial and roofing pilot.
- In October 2026, a ServiceTitan blog post described Atlas as a chief-of-staff-level agent in closed alpha, with Max customers next in line.
- On September 10, 2026, Pulse 2.0 reported that ServiceTitan’s fiscal Q2 revenue rose 21% to $292.8 million as Max adoption grew.
- In 2025, ServiceTitan introduced Atlas as an AI co-pilot for the trades, able to run reports, dispatch technicians and adjust marketing.
Early for Most Contractors, and One to Watch
For most contractors it is early, and it is worth watching. ServiceTitan Atlas scores 7.6/10 on our scale: strong on integrations and the autonomy it is designed for, with room to grow on availability and pricing as it moves past alpha, and a neutral sentiment score because there are no public ratings yet. The design is ambitious. An agent that writes its own report queries, builds workflows, watches rules and delegates tasks across a contractor’s full operating data goes well beyond a chatbot.
If you already run on ServiceTitan, ask about Max and the Atlas alpha, and for commercial or roofing work, ask to join the pilot. If you are choosing a platform, judge ServiceTitan on what is live today and treat Atlas as an upside. If you are a general contractor, Procore Agents fit your work better.
Trade Contractors Ask When and How They Get Atlas
How Much Does ServiceTitan Atlas Cost?
ServiceTitan says Atlas pricing and packaging are not yet set. ServiceTitan itself uses per-technician pricing across its Starter, Essentials and The Works packages, with prices given only by quote.
When Will Atlas Be Available to All ServiceTitan Customers?
As of October 2026, Atlas is in a closed alpha for admins; Max customers get it next for all users, and general availability follows.
What Is the Difference Between Atlas and Max?
Max is ServiceTitan’s agentic operating system, a set of agents and automations that coordinate work across demand, field and office. Atlas is the chief-of-staff agent on top, which owners talk to on mobile or web for reports, analysis, workflows and alerts.
Can Atlas Help Commercial Construction Contractors?
Yes, through the limited Max pilot for commercial and roofing contractors, which includes daily log, site walk and invoice review agents. ServiceTitan also plans a construction estimate variance agent and roofing agents for claims, production and subcontractors.
Does Atlas Work With ChatGPT or Other AI Assistants?
Atlas itself runs in ServiceTitan’s apps. Separately, ServiceTitan’s Homh network makes selected contractors bookable through ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, and contractors can add a direct booking connection (MCP) to their website so AI agents can book jobs.
