Infinitus says its AI agents have handled more than 100 million minutes of healthcare conversations, and that it works with 44% of the Fortune 50’s healthcare companies. The San Francisco company began by automating the calls that clog healthcare administration: phoning insurers to check benefits, chase prior authorizations and follow up on prescriptions.

It has since moved into patient-facing clinical calls and, in 2026, a no-code builder that lets healthcare teams design their own agents.

How It Works

On the administrative side, Infinitus agents place calls to payers, work through phone trees, ask the right questions and return structured answers about coverage, prior authorization status and claims. That work used to take staff hours on hold.

Its clinical agents, launched in December 2025, talk with patients for education, care management and health risk assessments. They interpret medical intent, assess symptom severity, manage medications under provider protocols and flag possible emergencies or adverse events to care teams. They support Spanish as well as English. Each agent is scored on a five-part framework covering professionalism, empathy, accuracy, privacy and security, and safety.

Studio, released in April 2026, lets teams build agents in plain language. A patent-pending feature called Agent Response Control watches for sensitive topics and routes the agent to pre-verified answers, and simulations test agents before they reach patients.

Pricing

Infinitus does not publish prices. Contracts are sold to enterprises such as pharmaceutical companies, specialty pharmacies and health systems, and buyers get a demo and a quote. Expect pricing to reflect call volume, the mix of administrative and clinical use cases, and the integration work needed to feed results back into a customer’s systems.

What to Watch Out For

Public information on integrations and security certifications is limited, so ask for documentation and a BAA early. Clinical use raises the stakes: review escalation rules, test with real call scenarios and keep clinicians in the loop. Accuracy and equity results come from the vendor’s own evaluations; the company says it found no accuracy differences across age groups or genders, but buyers should run their own checks on their patient population. Payer calls depend on insurers’ phone systems, which change often, so ask how quickly agents are updated when a payer changes its menus or questions.
