Symphony Brings a Coordinated Agent Team to Small Businesses

For $16 a month on annual billing, a small business on Symphony gets 2,000 agent tasks a month carried out by a team of AI agents, and the free plan covers 500. Wix launched Symphony on August 11, 2026. A coordinator agent called Maestro watches the business, decides what needs attention and hands each job to a specialist agent: drafting an email sequence, following up a lead, updating a booking or building a report.

Two design choices define it. Every action needs the owner’s approval before it runs, and a separate agent checks the work before the owner sees it. That keeps a small business in control at the cost of a daily check-in. It scores 8.9 out of 10 on our scale, led by pricing value and ease of setup.

Symphony Points for Small Business Owners

  • Wix launched Symphony on August 11, 2026 as a standalone multi-agent platform for small businesses.
  • A coordinator agent, Maestro, decides what needs doing and assigns specialist agents.
  • Every recommended action needs the owner’s approval before it runs.
  • Free includes 500 credits a month; Basic is $16, Pro $40 and Max $80 a month on annual billing.
  • Symphony connects automatically to a Wix site’s bookings, store and back office.

Wix says Symphony draws on its experience supporting hundreds of millions of businesses. That scale is the reason a website company can launch an agent team for local businesses: it already holds the booking, store and site data those agents need.

The launch also included a separate quality step: a reviewer agent that checks each piece of work before the owner sees it.

Pricing is flat across countries, which is unusual. A café in Lisbon and a salon in Dallas pay the same $16 for Basic.

How Maestro and the Specialist Agents Work

Learning the Business First

TechRadar reports that Symphony is designed to learn each business before acting, instead of starting from a fixed template. On a Wix site, it connects automatically to the back office, bookings, store data and site performance.

Maestro Decides What Comes Next

Maestro monitors business activity, customer behavior and trends, decides what needs attention and assigns a specialist agent. Wix also says Symphony surfaces recommendations and flags issues without being prompted.

Specialist Agents Do the Work

Tasks Wix lists include routine customer communications, email sequences, lead follow-ups, booking monitoring and updates, content scheduling, content calendars, outreach sequences, multi-channel monitoring, client pipeline management, troubleshooting and reports.

A Reviewer Agent Checks It

Before anything reaches the owner, a separate agent reviews the work for quality.

The Owner Approves

Symphony does not act on its own. Each recommended action waits for the owner’s approval, and only then runs.

The Morning Meeting

Each day the owner gets a short summary in the app covering completed work, outstanding tasks and new opportunities.

The Signals Maestro Watches

TechRadar describes Maestro as working from three kinds of signal: business activity, customer behavior and trends. On a Wix site, business activity can come from bookings, store data and back-office records, which Symphony connects to automatically. Customer behavior and trends could include signals such as clients who stopped booking or a slow week ahead. Agents report back with updates and analytics, which feed the next morning’s summary. The more of the business that runs through connected tools, the more Maestro has to work with.

A Week at a Yoga Studio Running Symphony

This example uses only the task types Wix describes.

  • Monday morning. The summary shows three class bookings cancelled over the weekend and a waitlist for Thursday. Maestro proposes messages to waitlisted clients; the owner approves.
  • Tuesday. A lead from the contact form has not booked a trial class. The follow-up agent drafts a message; the owner edits one line and approves.
  • Wednesday. Symphony suggests a content calendar for next month’s workshop and schedules posts after approval.
  • Thursday. An outreach sequence goes to members who have not visited in 30 days.
  • Friday. A weekly report shows bookings, revenue from the online store and site traffic.

Each of those steps uses credits. Ten approved tasks a day across a month is about 300 credits, well inside the free plan’s 500.

Why Wix Built Symphony as a Separate Product

Wix already sells a site builder with an AI agent, Wix Harmony. Symphony is different: TechRadar describes it as standalone, sold on its own tiered subscription and billed apart from website plans. Its job is the day-to-day running of the business, which reaches well past the website. COO Ronny Elkayam said Wix built it to be the AI agent orchestrator for small businesses.

For owners, the separation has two effects. You can add or drop Symphony without touching your site plan. And if you run a Wix site, Symphony starts with your bookings, orders and traffic already connected, which removes most of the setup that agent tools usually need.

Setting Up Symphony in the First Week

  • Day 1. Start on the free plan. If you have a Wix site, Symphony connects to its back office, bookings, store data and site performance.
  • Day 1. Connect the other tools your plan allows, such as email or social accounts.
  • Day 2. Read the first morning summary. Approve two or three small tasks, such as a lead follow-up, and decline anything off-brand.
  • Days 3 to 5. Watch the credit count. The free plan allows 100 a day and 500 a month.
  • Day 7. If you hit the daily cap often, compare Basic at $16 a month with your week’s usage.

Paid plans carry a 14-day refund window from the first purchase, so an upgrade can be tested with little risk.

Reading Symphony’s Morning Summary

The daily summary is where the owner works with Symphony. It lists completed work, outstanding tasks and new opportunities drawn from business activity, customer behavior and trends. Most owners will spend their time on the outstanding list, since that is where approvals wait.

A useful habit is to clear approvals in one sitting each morning and decline anything unclear. Declined suggestions are cheaper than wrong actions, and the review agent has already checked quality before items reach you.

Upgrades add credits at once; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. If agents pause mid-month for lack of credits, nothing runs until the reset, so a seasonal business should size its plan for the busy month. Symphony is billed separately from any Wix website plan.

What the Approval Step Means for Risk

Some small business agent tools send messages and change bookings on their own once switched on. Symphony takes the slower route: the agents prepare, a reviewer agent checks, and the owner approves. For a business where one wrong message to a client can cost a booking, that is a sensible default.

The trade-off is speed. A lead that arrives at 9 p.m. gets a follow-up only after the owner approves it, which may be the next morning. Businesses where minutes matter, such as emergency trades, may pair Symphony with a phone or chat agent that answers in real time, and use Symphony for the slower work: sequences, content, reports and pipeline upkeep.

Symphony Compared With HighLevel, Vendasta and Podium

PlatformStarting PriceWho It Is Sold ToMain StrengthMain Limit
Symphony by WixFree; Basic $16 per monthSmall business owners directlyCoordinated agent team with approvalsCredits pause agents when used up
HighLevel AI Employee$50 per month per sub-account plus HighLevel from $97Agencies and their clientsVoice, chat and CRM in oneHigher total entry cost
Vendasta AI Employees$99 per monthAgencies reselling to local businessesWhite-label for resellersSold through partners
Podium AI EmployeeCustom quoteLocal service businessesMessaging and reviews for local firmsNo published price

Symphony has the lowest entry price here and a free plan. HighLevel and Vendasta suit agencies that run many clients. Podium centers on texting and reviews for local service firms. The comparison also shows who does the buying: Symphony is sold straight to the owner with a free plan, while HighLevel and Vendasta usually reach small businesses through an agency that sets the agents up and charges for the service. An owner who prefers to run things directly will find Symphony simpler to try. Our small business agents page lists more, and Wix’s own site builder agent is covered in our Wix Harmony review.

Businesses That Suit Symphony

Local businesses already on Wix with bookings or a store gain the most, since Symphony connects to that data without setup. Studios, salons, clinics, consultants and small shops that fall behind on follow-ups and content are the clearest fit. Owners who want help but not surprises will like the approval step.

Businesses in many countries benefit from the flat pricing. The free plan suits anyone who wants to test agents before spending money.

Owners who already juggle a booking tool, an email list and social accounts are a good match, because Maestro decides which of those needs attention each day. The morning summary turns several dashboards into one short list.

Owners Who May Find Symphony Too Hands-On

Because every action waits for approval, owners who rarely open the app will see work pile up. Businesses that want agents to answer phone calls or chat with customers on their own may prefer a voice or chat agent; Symphony is built around tasks the owner signs off. Businesses whose main tools are outside Wix should check which integrations their plan includes, since deeper integration access rises with each tier. Larger firms with dedicated marketing or operations staff may already have the processes Symphony provides and get less from it.

Approval Load, Credit Pauses and Data Access With Symphony

  • Approval load. Budget ten minutes a day to review the morning summary and approve tasks.
  • Credit pauses. Agents stop when credits run out until the monthly reset.
  • Daily cap. The free plan caps use at 100 credits a day.
  • Data access. Symphony reads Wix back office, bookings, store and site data; review what each connected tool shares.
  • Billing. Symphony is separate from a Wix website plan, and paid plans carry a 14-day refund window.

What Capterra Reviewers Say About Wix

Wix holds 4.4 out of 5 from 10,783 Capterra reviews, with 4.3 for value and 82 percent rating it good or excellent value. Reviewers praise the free option, low-cost good-looking sites and an all-in-one platform covering payments, stores and email marketing. Complaints include a pricing structure that is hard to follow, advanced features on higher tiers, separate payment and domain charges, and yearly price increases. These reviews cover Wix generally; Symphony is new.

Symphony on Our Six Criteria

Symphony scores 8.9 out of 10 on our scale. Pricing value leads, with a free plan and published tiers from $16. Ease of setup is high for Wix users thanks to automatic connections. Autonomy is moderate by design, since every action waits for approval. Trust scores well thanks to the review agent and approval step.

The main limits are practical ones: credits that run out, and approvals that need the owner every day. Both are visible within the first week on the free plan, before any money is spent.

For a Wix business owner, the free plan is the right start. Approve a week of tasks, count credits used and see whether the morning summary saves more time than it takes.
