GE Appliances is deploying more than 800 AI agents on Gemini Enterprise, and Tata Steel put more than 300 into service in nine months, Google said at its Cloud Next conference in April 2026. Gemini Enterprise is Google Cloud’s platform for using, building and governing agents at work. It replaced Agentspace in October 2025.

The Business edition starts at $21 per seat per month, which makes it one of the few enterprise agent platforms with a published entry price.

How It Works

Employees work in a single chat app. Google supplies prebuilt agents, including Deep Research, which runs multi-step research across the web and internal data, and a Data Insights agent that looks for patterns in company data. Agent Designer lets non-technical staff build agents that run on a schedule or a trigger using any enterprise connector. An Inbox groups agent work into items that need input, errors and completed tasks, so people review results rather than watch each step. Projects give teams workspaces where agent memory is limited to their own files and conversations.

Connectors reach Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow and Asana, and admins can add tools through the Model Context Protocol. Engineering teams can publish full-code agents to the same app. The Agent Gallery launched with more than 70 partner agents from companies such as Adobe, Atlassian, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Workday. Administrators can see, secure and audit every agent from one console.

Pricing

Business costs $21 per seat per month on annual billing and covers up to 300 seats. Standard starts at $30 per seat. Google does not list a price for Plus; partners report about $50 a month on an annual plan or $60 on flexible terms. Frontline is an add-on with custom pricing. Usage beyond included quotas is metered, which partners estimate at $15 to $40 per active power user per month. NotebookLM Enterprise is reportedly licensed separately.

What to Watch Out For

The seat price is not the full cost for organizations with heavy agent use, so model overages before signing. The product has changed name and features within a year, and reviewers describe user sentiment as mixed. Several Workspace capabilities announced in April 2026, such as scheduling meetings from the app, were still in private preview.
