Loxo Score

Our editorial score across six weighted criteria, based on Loxo’s published documentation, pricing and public user ratings. How we score

  • Autonomy8.5

Outreach + Pursuit follows up with each candidate until a reply and Longlist researches a whole talent pool, with agents starting when a recruiter asks and Scheduling still listed as coming soon.

  • Ease of Setup8.8

A 7-day trial gives full Professional access with no credit card and free migration and onboarding, though moving an agency's ATS records is still a project.

  • Pricing Value8.0

Core is published at $149 per user per month billed annually, and the agents sit on the quote-based Professional plan and run on AI credits.

  • Integrations8.3

Every plan has email and calendar sync, a Chrome extension and MCP access, Professional adds an API, and HCM and ATS integrations are listed for Enterprise; one Capterra reviewer asked for a Zapier connector.

  • Trust and Security8.3

SOC 2 Type II and SSO/SAML are listed on the Enterprise plan, and Loxo publishes GDPR and CCPA pages and an AI audit center.

  • User Sentiment9.3

Capterra rates Loxo 4.6 from 134 reviews, adjusted because some reviewers mention slow support, out-of-date sourcing data and renewal pricing.

Loxo raised $115 million in February 2025 to build what its executives called the best AI-powered talent intelligence platform on the market, and the result is an agency ATS and CRM with a dozen AI agents attached. The agents research talent pools, find personal contact details, write outreach and follow up until candidates reply, then turn interview notes into client-ready submittals.

Loxo suits recruitment and executive search agencies that want sourcing data, outreach and records in one system. The $149 per user per month Core price, billed annually, covers the ATS and CRM, while the agents come with the quote-based Professional plan and run on AI credits. Capterra reviewers rate Loxo 4.6 out of 5 from 134 reviews, and we score it 8.5/10 on our scale. We have not used Loxo ourselves; this review is based on Loxo’s published pricing pages, its funding announcement and public reviews.

Loxo’s $149 Core Seat and Agents on Professional

  • Core costs $149 per user per month billed annually; the AI agents, Loxo Source and Loxo Outreach come with the Professional plan, which is priced through a demo.
  • Professional includes 2,500 AI credits per seat per month, and Boost tiers raise that to 5,000 or 12,500 credits per user.
  • Loxo took a $115 million growth investment led by Tritium Partners in February 2025 to speed up AI product work.
  • Agents run only when a recruiter starts them; Outreach + Pursuit then keeps following up with each candidate until they reply.
  • Capterra rates Loxo 4.6 from 134 reviews, with praise for frequent updates and some reviewers asking for faster support and fresher sourcing data.

Growth Investment and Published Plan Details

Loxo publishes more about its plans and agents than most agency software vendors. These are the figures a buyer can check.

Two things matter here. First, the funding is large for agency software and is explicitly tied to AI development, which fits the rapid growth of the agent roster. Second, the price gap between Core and Professional is where the real buying decision sits. An agency that only wants a modern ATS can buy Core at a published price, while the agents at the center of Loxo’s AI work come with a quote.

The customer results are vendor case studies and measure different things: company growth, time-to-hire and admin time. They show the kinds of outcomes Loxo aims for rather than a benchmark a buyer can expect.

An ATS and Two CRMs Under One Database

Loxo is a system of record first: an applicant tracking system, a recruiting CRM and a sales CRM in one database. The agents work on that database and on Loxo Source, the company’s sourcing graph, so their output lands directly in candidate and client records.

The Agent Roster

  • Job Intake: captures the hiring brief, including must-haves, culture signals and compensation.
  • Write JD + Skills DNA: turns a role into a structured skills profile and drafts the job description.
  • Longlist: researches the full talent pool and narrows it to the most relevant candidates.
  • Shortlist: ranks the longlist by fit and explains each ranking.
  • Contact-Info Finding: finds and verifies personal contact details and enriches records on request.
  • Outreach + Pursuit: writes personalized multi-touch outreach and keeps following up with each candidate until they respond.
  • AI Notetaker and Candidate Submittal: capture and structure interview notes, then write client-ready candidate summaries.
  • Self-Updating CRM, Deduplication and Data Hygiene: refresh outdated titles, employers and locations, merge duplicates and clean data at entry.

Scheduling, which would book interviews once a candidate is approved, and Data Hygiene are listed as coming soon on Loxo’s pricing page.

A Typical Search

A recruiter opens a new role and has the intake and job description agents structure the brief. Longlist then searches Loxo Source and the agency’s own database, and Contact-Info Finding fills in emails and phone numbers. The recruiter reviews the list and hands approved candidates to Outreach + Pursuit, which writes sequences and follows up without further prompting. After interviews, AI Notetaker structures the notes and Candidate Submittal drafts the summary the client sees. Loxo also lists Loxo AI Chat, AI Recommendations and a Full Agentic Mode on the Professional plan, plus an Agent Impact Center for tracking what agents did.

A Seven-Day Trial and Free Data Migration

  • Start a trial: the 7-day trial includes full Professional access and the agents, with no credit card required.
  • Migrate data: Loxo offers free migration on every plan, described as white-glove on Professional and free on Core for teams of three or more seats.
  • Connect email and calendar: sync is included on all plans, along with a Chrome extension for capturing profiles.
  • Connect outside tools: MCP access lets an agency connect its own AI tools; Professional adds API access, and Enterprise adds HCM and ATS integrations.
  • Set credit limits: account admins can see live pricing and usage on a Credit Admin page and add credits as needed.

Recruiters Approve Longlists and Own Client Ties

Recruiters decide when agents run, approve longlists before outreach, conduct interviews and manage client relationships. Shortlists come with explanations, but fit calls still belong to the recruiter. Loxo says agents only run when asked, which keeps a person in charge of each step; opening new searches and pursuing new clients stay with the recruiter.

One Published Price, the Rest by Demo

Loxo publishes one price and quotes the rest. Figures below are from Loxo’s pricing page and pricing guide as viewed in October 2026.

Loxo says there are no exit fees or lock-in and that data can be exported at any time. Migration, onboarding and training are free on every plan.

Core Seat Math Against a Professional Quote

Only Core has a published price, so these scenarios use that figure and treat Professional as the quote to compare against. Team sizes are our own examples.

  • A three-recruiter boutique on Core: three seats at $149 cost $447 a month, or $5,364 a year billed annually. That buys the ATS, CRM and AI search, but not the agents, so sourcing and outreach would run in another tool.
  • A ten-recruiter agency on Core: ten seats cost $1,490 a month, or $17,880 a year. This is the floor for a team of that size; the Professional quote will sit above it.
  • The same ten recruiters on Professional: the plan includes 2,500 credits per seat per month, or 25,000 credits across ten seats. Ask how many credits a Longlist run, a contact lookup and an outreach sequence each consume, then model a busy month before deciding whether Boost is needed.

Variable costs to plan for: Boost credit tiers if agents run heavily, per-minute calling and SMS, and the renewal price, which one Capterra reviewer felt was no longer competitive. The Core price is described as a limited-time offer for new customers, so confirm what applies at renewal before signing an annual contract.

Loxo Compared With Recruiterflow, Bullhorn Amplify, hireEZ and Juicebox

Agency recruiting tools split into systems of record with agents built in and standalone sourcing agents that sit beside an ATS. Loxo, Recruiterflow and Bullhorn Amplify are the first kind; hireEZ and Juicebox are mostly the second.

Juicebox$99 per seat per month billed annuallyLimitedPlain-English search over 800M+ profiles and sourcing agentsATS and CRM sync only on a custom planAgencies that want sourcing beside an existing ATS

If you already run Bullhorn, Amplify avoids a migration. If you want the cheapest published seat price for an agency ATS, Recruiterflow starts lower. Juicebox and hireEZ make sense when the ATS stays where it is and only sourcing changes. Loxo is the strongest fit when an agency wants to replace both its ATS and its sourcing tool at once. More options are in our AI agents for recruitment agencies and recruiting and HR guides.

Agencies Replacing an ATS and Sourcing Tool at Once

  • Agencies replacing an ATS and a sourcing tool together: Loxo puts the database, Loxo Source and outreach in one system, so agent output lands straight in candidate records.
  • Executive search and specialist recruiters: Longlist, contact finding and Outreach + Pursuit cover the research-heavy work of passive candidate search.
  • Agencies that also sell to clients: the sales CRM and account-based prospecting sit in the same product as the recruiting pipeline.
  • Teams that want to test before buying: the 7-day trial includes the agents and needs no credit card.
  • Firms worried about lock-in: Loxo states there are no exit fees and data can be exported at any time.

Basic ATS Buyers and High-Volume Staffing Desks

  • Agencies that only need a basic ATS: Core is $149 per user per month without agents; lower-cost agency systems are also available.
  • High-volume staffing desks: Loxo’s agents center on sourcing and outreach; voice screening and shift redeployment tools such as Sense or ConverzAI fit that work better.
  • Teams that need interview scheduling automated today: the Scheduling agent is listed as coming soon.
  • Firms happy on Bullhorn: Bullhorn Amplify adds agents without a migration.
  • Buyers who need every price in writing up front: Professional, Boost and calling rates are quoted.

What the Headline Price Covers and Credit Planning

  • Headline price: the $149 Core seat covers the ATS and CRM; agents, Loxo Source and Loxo Outreach come with Professional.
  • Credits: agents draw down AI credits; heavy use pushes an agency toward Boost tiers, so ask for credit costs per agent action.
  • Coming-soon agents: Scheduling and Data Hygiene are listed as coming soon, so check what is live during the trial.
  • Data freshness: Capterra reviewers report that some sourcing data can be out of date and AI sourcing is not always accurate. Verify contact details before large campaigns.
  • Support hours: reviewers in Europe mention slower support from a US-based team.
  • Renewal terms: Core pricing is described as a limited-time offer for new customers, and one reviewer felt the price was less competitive at renewal.
  • Outreach rules: automated follow-ups until a reply can run into email and privacy rules in some markets; set sequence limits and opt-out handling.

The $115 Million Tritium Partners Investment

A Strong Candidate for Agencies Consolidating Tools

For agencies that want to replace an ATS and a sourcing tool in one move, Loxo is a strong candidate and scores 8.5/10 on our scale. The agent roster covers most of a recruiter’s research and follow-up work, the system of record is included, and the 7-day trial lets a team test the agents on real searches before talking price. Capterra users rate it 4.6 from 134 reviews.

The areas to grow are pricing clarity and maturity. The published $149 seat covers the system without the agents, Professional and credits are quoted, and some agents are still marked as coming soon. Run the trial on two or three live roles, count the credits each search uses and ask for the renewal price in writing before signing an annual plan.
